I installed mine during COVID lockdowns - wife got one as a gift for baby shower and we never used it but 2 years later I broke it out during the dark times for toilet paper and it saved our ass, literally. Wouldn’t this just be the default android safety feature that disabled data transfer via cable by default now? You need to enable it each time, and I know testing my phone on Android 13, it prompts me when I plug into my PC via push notification, maybe lineage doesn’t do that

I’d like to think so but it will take a lot to lower the bar in terms of general confusion with the different instances and federation

I didn’t see it on fdroid but it looks like it’s on the play store early release. I tried from GitHub but was having issues with my phone and loading the apk

Well that is unfortunate, Waze is a great community that showed what is possible with crowdsourced information and keeping people from getting as many sepeding tickets

I’d say no, I think adding a incentive metric will just cause posted to be reposted and beat to death. Original and thoughtful discussion is better without it IMO
