And isn’t the issue with a credible nuclear deterrence the delivery and second strike capability anyway? Germany would need submarines and icbms too.

Germany still has some research reactors running. But for enrichment you don’t need a reactor, gas diffusion and centrifuges are also options. There should be enough fuel left to enrich enough uranium for at least some bombs. So it should be possible without too much reliance on external partners.

Hi, ich hab mir grad den ganzen Thread angeschaut und muss noch schnell meinen senf dazu geben. Generator betriebene Elektrofahrzeuge sind tatsächlich effizienter als direkte Verbrenner im Realbetrieb aufgrund mehrerer Punkte:

1. RPM Effizienz Wegen dieser Kurve hat ein ICE Fahrzeug Probleme die theoretische Effizienz in den meisten Fahrsituationen zu erreichen. Range Extender Motoren können ohne Getriebe direkt bei idealer RPM laufen.
2. Kleiner Hubraum Range Extender Motoren können auf die durchschnittliche Leistung ausgelegt werden während Verbrennermotoren reserven für Beschleunigung und Bergfahrten brauchen. Kleinere Motoren sind effizienter.
3. Und wenn man sich den gesamten Klimaimpact anschaut, kommt das KIT zum Schluss dass EVs mit kleinen Batterien und range Extender die beste Wahl für klimafreundliche Mobilität sind

Yeah, asking those questions to any balkanese is dangerous. I had the luck to spend some weeks with an albanese family while traveling and while being weird they were also the most friendly and welcoming people I ever met (after every Canadian). I learned some albanian while being there, but the language doesn’t share anything with the other languages around there. And i was explicitly forbidden to learn any curse words, because that could be apparently really dangerous if the wrong people heard it. In addition to all the other valid arguments I want to also mention the rotation principle of the ukrainians. They deploy for six months to the Frontline and then rotate between the dugouts and a safehouse for two weeks at a time. So their soldiers have time to relax and eat good food even while deployed which keeps morale high.

Russia used to just keep their common troops on the frontline until they were exhausted. If I recall correctly they changed this in the last months, but they most likely lost almost all of their pre war trained troops.
