In this dysfunctional world going straight to hell, Harald was a voice of reason and love

This was me when I was younger. I turned it around by using simple social queues. In a group, if a friend I trusted was making jokes on my expense I’d laugh. However, if someone else I didn’t trust/ accept would do the same (as often happened), I’d just stare at them with a neural expression. Maybe even a bit annoyed. Social situations are ball games. They all want to play ball. If you dont play ball, they will try to adapt so that you throw the ball back

Cost of doing business

TIL! Thanks

If werewolf is manwolf, wouldn’t wereman be manman?
Not going to comment on people in general, but I’ll offer some personal experience as a Norwegian. Had a russian colleague a while back. She was hard working, smart, lovely and kind. Don’t have a single negative thing to say about her. However, when the subject of her origin came up things was a bit weird. It was hard to talk about. Not because of the talking, but more because of fear of not knowing what she would be willing to talk about. It’s also a bit scary because depending on what our stances on things were, it could easily turn into a conflict.
I also remember thinking to myself that no matter how good and honest she was as a person, she is still a security risk. Her connections to her country, i.e. friends and family, can be used as leverage to have her do things she doesn’t want to.
That said; if you are willing to get through those hurdles and understand/agree with the general Norwegian perspective on the Ukraine situation, I think you’ll be alright

My cure is to try new hobbies/activities. Especially ones that require your complete focus. Like Motorsports. Personally I have a lot of anxiety when it comes to singing in front of people, resulting in everything else disappearing during the vocal lessons I for some reason signed up for.
It used to make me sad that I couldn’t hold a single hobby, but I guess I’m just not built for it. Trying different ones as often as needed is more up my alley

Oh really. That’s… A bummer

I thought it couldn’t transfer between humans? Only from rodent saliva/pee/poop

Don’t worry. I’ll teach you some basic economy. If you have more costs than income you should try to either increase the income, decrease costs, or even better - both. That’s what he did

Yeah. Powerful message though

Rise Against - Hero of war
Not a “play at protests”-song, but powerful nevertheless

In my opinion, you’d establish a number that is the max amount anyone would need in a region per year, let’s say 1 million. For one million you could finance a place to live, a car, food for you and your family, hobbies and maybe a trip or two. Then multiply that by three. Just to shut down the ones who’d argue. Three times what ever the amount of money anyone would need is an obscene amount of money per year. Everything else goes to 1) the state to regulate the quality and cost of the community, and 2) entities that generate value and has jobs

I mean; she can’t possibly have less experience than the current president
Haven’t gotten around to testing Talos enough, but I’m very enthusiastic about the idea. The little I’ve tested it has been great. My reasoning is (from my point of view ofc): maintaining an OS(Linux/windows/what have you) is pain, maintaining Kubernetes is pain. If I can I want to put all my effort into one of them. The regular OSes are made to do anything, Talos is made for one specific thing which hopefully reduces the attack and maintenance surface a lot. You also get a fair amount of handholding with Talos compared to raw Kubernetes.
No idea about the windows server part.
If your docker services is running with docker compose, there’s a tool called https://kompose.io/ that will help you. Haven’t tried it, but as most k8s things it probably need some adjustments.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3I9PkvZ80BQ is an alright overview of the idea k8s. This thing called https://k3s.io/ is a nice staying point for testing k8s out
Not sure if the following will help you, but it helped me so I’ll share:
Edit: k8s is awesome in my unpopular? opinion, but yeah. There is a significant learning curve.
A lot of the experience for getting a service up and running is boilerplate. You can checkout an old project of mine to see how a small set of information must be structured to work in k8s: https://github.com/deifyed/kaex The output will only work for a old version of k8s. Haven’t kept the project updated due to work moving away from k8s
I went from a decade with nova to Dragon Launcher recently. It was weird at the start, but I’m starting to like it more and more

See why privacy are so important now? I’m looking at you EU
This generates more incentive for the politicians to keep the people poor. The poorer the people are, the cheaper winning a vote is since less money will be enough motivation to sway them
