That’s what I am think. I just commented above that I haven’t met anybody yet who wants this. I can’t believe this is a common stance.
I haven’t heard anybody really voicing this wish in person here at all. Seems odd it’s so “popular”.
#Elbowsup
And wasn’t that ever genius? He fired us up and united us even more. And he gave the movement a name that’s now worldwide recognized. I have seen tons of people from Europe, Australia and even Asia use it.
Even annex is too soft
Agree with that. Now is not the time to pick a fight with China. I was surprised that Carney picked China here. The much bigger threat is the USA. We don’t have to be best friends with China but I think to have a strategic trade partnership is crucial right now to eliminate ties with USA as much as possible.
I’ll add to that. Their sister brand is Reitmans and they have what I was looking for for a while: cotton leggings with pockets! Quite pricey but it seems like they offer 40% off every few weeks. I also saw some viscose camis and tops while on store. I’ll have to check out more of their basics.

Comes at a good time. Before people think he is backing off. I hope all the Buy Canadian and Elbows Up people understand that voting for PP goes right against the movement.
They don’t do it to save “us” money.
You are right. I also feel like Carney is now the adult in the room. With the economic and other threats from USA he seems the strongest one to counter and that’s what we need. At least I hope he is the force he seems to be.
A small farmer in a blue state who voted red!
I would take Hawaii over Alaska. We got snow ourselves.
I am enviously looking over the border. Would you share Eby? 😉
Interesting. Thanks for that. I hope we can preserve the individual wants and needs of provinces and territories but also unite as Canadians.
What we (Alberta) need to do is separate from Danielle Smith. I wish she would just move to Florida to be with her buddy.
I am not from Quebec and would like to hear from Quebecois actually how they feel. What I see and hear is that the Quebecois are very concerned about the threat from the USA as well and actually moved closer to the rest of Canada recently. The Bloc seemed to have missed the current situation and interests of their people completely here. Or am I completely wrong here?
Canadians apparently don’t realize how much of a privilege it is to be able to vote. Surprises me every time.
