What a terrible headline.
Better: “Windows has such terrible security architecture that a compromised application can steal a user’s passwords, passkeys, and literally anything else.”

Sandra’s slowly morphing into late-stage Michael Jackson and it’s a huge bummer.
Like, I get it. The system wants women to be young forever or they’re trash. But she was gorgeous and I’m sure she’d just be an older version of gorgeous without all the work.

You’re not gonna include the list? Walk the plank.
My guess: fencing, swimming, rowing, target shooting

Ideal doc: “Look, your obesity is impacting your other health issues. Let’s treat them but dropping a few pounds would help too. Here are some resources to help you eat better and get some more exercise.”
Real doc: “You’re fat, that’s why you’re sick. Lose weight and you won’t be sick. No, I won’t prescribe anything.”

Imagine if you were painting and a screwdriver popped up in the middle of your canvas demanding you use it with the only options being “yes” or “maybe later”

It sounds like a good strategy but I think most of the tankies we run into here are already over there (if the general time of day I get replies from .ml’s/hexbears is any indication)

I am once again begging people not to post a headline that starts with “Trump, 80,” that doesn’t end with. Well. You know.

Me, redesigning and printing the part for the third time because I measured something wrong again: shit

It’s why so many of the DC stuff is so boring. These are superpowers that have minimum viable characters wrapped around them. The only interesting thing that can happen to them is changing their powers.
I watched this movie, and they really tried to make it interesting. She starts as a total screwup and arcs towards greatness. But none of the motivation makes any sense and so most of her decisions come down to “if she didn’t do this the plot wouldn’t move forward.” Frankly, that’s how almost every superhero movie feels now.
I think the problem with this movie is that a) it wasn’t for kids and b) it wasn’t for manchildren who wear clothes with Batman logos on them. Not a lot of market left after that.
“We aren’t really being persecuted, but imagine we were? Wow, that feels bad. That bad feeling justifies anything we want to do.”
The conservative thought process in a nutshell.

That stinks. Solving out-of-game issues with in-game actions is a sign of a bad DM.

Give someone the power of life and death and they’ll start to equate attacks on them with attacks on the state which deserves death

A lot of the early (1789) revolutionaries were from the nobility and even the clergy. Many of the reactionaries were up and coming bourgeois who were about to make their way into the nobility. Sorry Marx, you got a few things right, but that one was an oversimplification.
The vast majority of the victims of the reign of terror were commoners. The nobility were underrepresented at the guillotine, besides a few obvious high-profile cases.
It appears as though Robespierre legitimately lost his mind at some point. He attempted to introduce a “cult of the supreme being” with himself as high priest that focused on adhering to his own idea of virtue. Anyone not virtuous enough, which was effectively literally everyone else, was liable to be executed.
Early in the revolutionary wars, the revolutionaries had arrested so many people that the Paris jails were super overcrowded. Some people didn’t want the armies to leave Paris for the front lines because maybe all those jailed people would break out and cause trouble. So Marat proposed that they reduce the incarcerated population… by killing them all. September 1789 was a bad month to have been a petty thief in Paris.
So many of the popular notions about the revolution are distorted or just ass-backwards.

This sounds great! Except nowhere do they say how much one will cost, they’re currently in the “drive demand before campaign launch” phase.
I bet it’s gonna be like five hundred bucks. That’ll suck.

Gamerant and all of its sister sites are just the worst writing on the internet. Shitty takes and shitty business practices.

These double-lobed asteroids always look so cool. Like, not that long ago if this image was in a science fiction movie I would have said ehhhh unlikely but here we are looking at them

The real problem is that if he claims the election is a fraud, it just gives his moron followers a false justification to go ahead and rig the elections next time because “they did it first”

There are people (not naming names) that, if assassinated, would be much more powerful in death than in life. I mean, one in particular is more powerful for what he represents to morons than what he actually is already.
In that case, it would be better for them to pass naturally, in public, because of their own decisions. Maybe by giving a record-setting delirious rambling speech in the July heat and finally letting one of those blood clots cut loose? One can dream.
Hey, I’m a chemist, and you’re getting some bad info from others in this thread.
Hydrogen peroxide decays into oxygen (and water) by itself over time, and certain things can speed that process up. What you’re seeing is oxygen bubbles that have been trapped by the soap.
Oxygen isn’t itself flammable, so trying to light those bubbles probably won’t do anything. You’d need to add some sort of fuel to the bubbles. I’ve seen hydrogen gas bubbled through soapy water and lit, and that is definitely exciting.
The mixture you’ve made is sort of on the way towards sodium percarbonate. You could get that more directly with some oxiclean (or a generic alternative). Probably won’t bubble because the peroxide is sort of locked up as part of the percarbonate, but it’ll still do its oxidizing thing. Oxidizing the chemicals that are a part of skunk odor makes them no longer smell.
Don’t use oxiclean or its equivalents on pets. Your best bet there is soap, water, and time.
