While I do not support Polands decision to break the rules, I also think that the Dublin Agreement is dead for years at this point. Its time for the EU and its members to accept that and finaly find a new solution.
Ehemalige DSA-Figur, die es irgendwie geschafft hat, eines Menschen Pseudonym im Internet zu werden.
Former TDE character who somehow managed to become one mans pseudonym on the internet.

Not necessarily so bad for the Greens. They are the only party of the current government that has not lost a massive amount of votes. They have more or less maintained their position, so not good, but not bad either.
And here as well. I decided never to mention it. It’s just how it is, don’t question the laws of science.
There he was louder/yelling but what he said is in my opinion way less „direct“. But yes, thats also one of Scholzes stronger moments.
The language used by Chancellor Scholz is the harshest and most direct we have ever heard from him. He must be very angry indeed and I fully understand him.
Wouldn‘t it be the best thing to make election day a nation wide holiday? Could keep the tradition while also actually allowing people to vote. I doubt that productivity is high on these days nevertheless.
Has this ever been discussed?
Because there a “phases” for the election of the chancellor. The first one just failed. We are now in the second one where the parlament can vote again (once or as many times as they like) if Merz isn’t elected after 14 days we will enter phase 3.
The big difference then beeing the needed majority changing from absolute to relative. Merz already had the relativ majority in this first round so it is more or less sure that he will get at least this numbers and will get elected at this point.
In theory this “relative win” could then be vetoed by the federal president but again unlikely with Steinmeier (SPD and big advocate of Union + SPD governments) being in this position.
