I don’t remember in my 2 decades of working my work machine causing me to lose work due to a Windows update. In the last year, it happened to me 3 times. One was due to Crowdstrike. The latest update also recently broke my remote setup. Not completely their fault but still a crappy time. The one other time was due to an update (must’ve been the forced win11 one) killing the wifi and then Windows hiding any options to fix it, a bug from Windows 10.

Your far left candidate has lost how many times in a row now? Maybe you helping the far right will keep that losing streak going as your country’s politicians recognize the far left will just keep losing. If you want to stir to the left, you don’t go right, like your country just did this election.

Even you ignored the first part of what I said, but I don’t blame you. That’s how conversations go.

I’ve had my fair share of issues with not getting a complete response from e-mails. And so I changed the way I look at it. It’s not like it will take weeks to get all the information you need just because you didn’t get everything in one go.

Digital communication is near instant. It’s not like snail mail where you have to cram your letter with as much information as you can, or it will be ages until the next reply.

Even when we converse, we get across just one point at a time. You have to respect other people’s time and bandwidth (Okay, one or two points).

Even the Playstation OS is better than this. It asks you whether to update before shutdown or the next time it starts up. ‘You’re 33% there’ is gaslighting, especially when you’re just shutting down the machine to go to bed.

This is the new whataboutism strategy. This is the new “both sides”.

Value investors aren’t the ones investing in this stock. The gamblers and growth investors all think this is a good roller coaster to get into. When you think about it, it’s actually disgusting how much is invested in this stock. The funds and people investing in this stock are just greedy. They don’t care about ethics, as long as line goes up/moves.

I’m agnostic about other gods but my religion is not believing in the Abrahamic god as described in the bible.

Look on the bright side. Your republican government has learned what works, and will never change and has even grown emboldened. And apparently the democrats didn’t learn anything either. The math is only going to get worse. Your government gets to do whatever it wants to the Palestinians or Latinos.

I thought blaming everyone but themselves was a conservative thing. People need to accept they voted for this, and need to do better next time (or now. Do better now).

Everyone has 4 years to learn, including you. What/who is your viable alternative?

It’s impossible to represent that on paper. It could be misrepresented as a specific number of spaces. Depending on the position on the paper, it may also be hard to tell if the carriage return comes with the line feed. Unless you want the document to be in ASCII or EBCDIC hex, it’s like writing an ambiguous math problem where the answer is different depending on how you were taught about the order of operations. Don’t do this to your kid, Abcde.

There are some levels to “without thinking about it”. You miss some things. You just aren’t aware when you do. Your brain will get tired at some point in the day and will adjust its capacity/willingness to get into detail, unless you’re not human.
