They actually specifically moved production to Foxconn Vietnam to avoid this… Only for Vietnam to get hit by 46% tariffs right after the Direct

I think it’s more the weak yen than tariffs, though it’s pretty unfortunate that Nintendo apparently moved their production to Vietnam right before the country was hit with a 46% tax…
I dunno about going down entirely, but bits and pieces (like SMS verification) definitely broke while they were undoing work and cutting “expenses” (like office leases)
With what hardware, a 7900XTX?!
That’s the neat part: they can’t :^)
Gamestops during the Xbox Series launch were a mess, parents weren’t sure which “Xbox” was the Xbox their kid wanted, and people ended up walking out of stores with Xbox One S boxes when they were asked for a Series S 🤣
To be fair, Microsoft’s actively self-sabotaging marketing didn’t help with their push to blend every model’s identity together as “The Xbox” (even before last year’s “This is an Xbox” campaign), so maybe it’s not the fairest example lol
Sometimes bluetooth headphones, but I have a couple Anker Soundcores (earbuds and one over-ear) and the latency is awful , so I just end up using my HD560s when I’m at home lol
Huh, I’ve had mine for a couple weeks and only saw it for the first time yesterday, after an update…
Hm… It’s out of date for sure, but I just tried it and it definitely works for both Lemmy and Reddit. You can add any instance you’d like to a custom feed.
I think Stealth on FDroid combines Reddit and Lemmy, but I don’t really use it much or mess with Reddit anymore…
For the first two, based on personal experience:
Anecdotally, my old back-mounted LG fingerprint scanner has never been wrong (when dry of course), but my Pixel needs a re-scan 30% of the time.
My phone requires a tap to wake the screen before the fingerprint reader will accept any input at all, unless I decide to burn battery and turn on AOD.
E: My current phone uses an optical sensor and, from what I understand, ultrasonics are infinitely better
Cool, just make alternatives actually available in a country, and also get them onto mobile carrier whitelists. Easy.
(Looking at Asus)
No it isn’t, it’s a well known issue when used on Android, this isn’t new lol
There’s Sony’s Xperia line, they’re just prohibitively expensive in comparison
Pretty sure it does, actually
I’m pretty sure the intended gesture is just to hold the edge of the screen where the drawer is for a second, then drag. Works alright for me, anyway…
Yeah, to be honest the FF Android experience just can’t match Chromium.
I don’t really NEED to, so I’m not switching from Firefox anytime soon, but I wish they’d at least fix recently closed tabs reappearing every time I reopen the darned thing…
Well maybe they’re just taking it literally, and actually thought this while taking a shower? 🤔
Alright, now name a game where you’d have to do that for thousands or even hundreds of consecutive hours, especially on a portable console.
