The way I see it, why leave?

Am I just going to let the place fall to ruin because I didn’t get my way this time? There are people here who want to make things better, just like I do, and they will need my help next time. It’d be selfish for me to leave them and make things better for just myself when we’re supposed to be trying to make things better for everyone.

If things get truly bad, I have to hope that more people will want to make things better. That doesn’t work if everyone just runs away at the first sign of things going wrong. If you’re of a group where you might be persecuted, and you find yourself in danger, then go, run, but I’m reasonably safe for now, so I will stay and hope for a better tomorrow.

Your fear of a 3rd term makes it all the more important to vote in your future elections. As the two term limit is imposed through a constitutional amendment, they’d need to create another constitutional amendment to reverse it. They need 2/3rds of both the house and the senate to agree to even get the ball rolling, as such, it is vital that you do what you can to prevent them from acquiring those numbers to avoid that situation.

If it did happen, I wonder if the democrats would run Obama again.

Wait 2 years, and hopefully put people who will mitigate the damage into the positions listed on your ballot. All you can do now as a law abiding citizen is wait.

I don’t share your opinion on this matter, so I don’t know of one off the top of my head, and my quick search yielded no results.

Normally I’d say “Be the change you want to see.” and encourage you to create a community for it yourself. However, you should probably ask yourself first, whether a community dedicated to hating something is even worth having, and then ask yourself if it is worth moderating. I can’t imagine you’d have any real great conversations when it’s all going to just be “x sucks” you’d basically just end up with the same post over and over again.

Michelle Obama would have lost for sure. Remember, she’s the one who all the kiddos were blaming for having their school lunches ruined forever. And whenever kids ask why their school lunches suck today, they still get the response, “It was Michelle Obama’s fault”.

Obama was elected sixteen years ago, so anyone who was in school at all at that time can vote now, so we have nearly 20 years of voters who will hate this person for ruining their lunches when they were children. It would never work out and would have been a really poor choice to run her, since Dems typically require the younger vote.

The issue is on the host’s end. They have most likely put the wrong local IP into the server.properties file. Have your friend find the line that is server-ip= and have them put the IP of the VPN’s network interface if it has one. That should make it so that the traffic for the minecraft server is through the VPN instead of though their real network.

I mean, the primary benefit of fast food is that you can swing by and get a prepared meal on your lunch break. You can’t really do that at a sit down place unless you order in advance. They lost the ‘fast’ part too, since they don’t want to pay the amount of people it takes to run their stores though. Now the only benefit they have going for them is their hours, and they’re slipping there for the most part, since most places are still running on reduced hours because COVID gave them the excuse to never bring their old hours back.

A few years back they stole some much more valuable fast food places from me, and replaced it with Great Value Subway. I was pretty upset, because I could just go to get Subway down the road, since there are like 2 billion Subways, and then Mr. Mike rolls up and is like “Let’s make 2 billion more Subways.” I don’t really want one Subway, so in what world would I ever want two? Give me an A&W or a Long John Silvers or something. Or maybe an A&W/Long John Silvers.
