I’m in my 30s and with constant stress of life, I have no interest in really doing much of anything besides sitting on my couch playing video games and forgeting everything in my down time.
I used to go out and party every weekend and during the week, but that was my early 20s.
I did this; got my husband’s kid a low end android phone on “pay as you go” since I knew he would either lose it or have it smashed within a few months. Was right on both accounts.
And yes that phone was as slow as molasses.
As much as I would love to only rely on f-droid, they do not have the same apps as the playstore or alternatives for everything.
My cellphone mindless games are Haru Slide and Match Fun 3D.
Yeah, to me this seems like such a strange post. I can easily pick up batteries at most stores I go to and use them in various stuff in my home. Never thought about them phasing out right now, but when I think about it I guess it’s true, I see a lot of gadgets that just charge with USB plugs now.
That’s what we had thought too. Also the fact that it was a really generic looking red plus sign. How can someone trademark a symbol used by everyone? I guess if it wasn’t red, it would have been fine. There was a lot of scoffing going on in clinic.
My vet clinic I work at was contacted by Red Cross some years ago damanding that we change our logo becuase it had a red plus sign in it. It was the most ridiculous thing. How did they even find out about us? we are no big time clinic, only people in our city are going to know who we are. We had that logo for a long, long time. It was just bizarre.
I suppose pointing it at the bidet instead of the toilet is more tasteful
My husband just traded one for the other. We’d like to think it’s “healthier”, but who knows. Definitely stinks less which I appreciate.
But everyone and everything rather avoid pain, wouldn’t they? And if I would like to treat those the way I would like to be treated, then why not try to help mitigate that pain where possible?
I had a problem like this the other day. I needed to vacuum out my car and there is no good outlet near it where I park at my apartment building. Went to the hand wash to wash my car, then on the outside of the building there was a random outlet on the wall, no idea why it was there. I thought about plugging my vacuum in that I had in my trunk, but I felt too weird about it…
On another note, I’ve totally used outlets in the hospital waiting area when I’ve been there for hours. I don’t feel weird about that for whatever reason. But we don’t pay for Healthcare here so maybe that has something to do with it.
Photoshop for me. Yeah I can get it running under Linux, but it keeps crashing, or is buggy.
And no, Gimp is not a good replacement if anyone goes there.

Did you follow a guide to get Skyrim modded on the deck? I’ve modded it on Windows but never Linux.
Same with Boost, still working and wasn’t supposed to after July 1st. There was to be no subscription for that app either, so it should have died for sure. So strange.
My understanding is that only kbin can interact with both Lemmy and Mastodon while also showing its own threads/magazines/whatever. Lemmy can only see Lemmy and Mastadon can only see Mastodon.
I’m on kbin and also have access to read and comment on Lemmy posts, though I’m not sure how to access Mastadon as I don’t see them show up when I search for other communities…
Edit: looks like I have to search Microblogs when I want to see Mastadon. Seems kind of confusing though, I don’t think I understand how Mastodon works.
Yeah, he straight up said he wasn’t going to do a Lemmy app, I’m confused.
I guess I’m the only one that’s stopped using a third party launcher… After getting an S23 and being on One UI 6 I’m finding I’m not hating the stock launcher anymore. I was using Nova forever.
