Title made me think… Aren’t we end of the Browser development cycle yet? What improvement browsers can benefit from now on? What else on the roadmap?

ITT all games dancing around Bannerlord but no one recommended it yet.
Introverts make great leaders.
Talking of Moebius, go watch Scavengers Reign.
…with the help of vibe coding.
Bandcamp is still owned by Epic Games though.
Edit: Wait, it’s worse. They just sold it to a Songtradr which immediately laid off half of the company.
Pretty stoked for Bannerlord’s next expansion, War Sails.
Nintendo Switch 2 just got it’s 1tb MicroSD Express (1gbps write / 3 gbps read) card announced so I see a bright future for MicroSD technology.
It works on Deck, though unplayable without key/mouse.
This.
I dabbled too long around having it’s UI look prettier, but gave up after spending precious months. Now I can’t see a way to have it look like I want it to, and -with respect- that’s never the intention of devs to have it’s UI very customizable.
BUT having your own UI is pretty easy if you know basic JS and HTML; that’s intentional yet kinda hidden behind all the clutter of HA. So if CSS themes won’t do it for you, you can try your chance with that.
Kinda proud for our Turkish fellows keeping that instance running ✌️
Actually they’ve been here for a very long time.
DeBird is the oldest commercial ML/Audio product I know. It’s around since 2017.
Accentize plugins are the commercial ones.
Also there’s a Waves one.
Nvidia’s RTX Voice can do it in real time since 2020.
And lastly on the open-source end, there’s Intel’s OpenVino for Audacity.
It’s actually a pretty good idea to have a full system snapshot time to time, where the project can compile successfully, for future Virtual Machine use. It’s usually easier to spin a VM than setting up the whole dev environment from scratch.
There are lots of problems with the new lingo. We need to come up with new words.
How about “Open Weightings”?
Ah, it was. I’m still very fond of it’s UX and integrity.
Good thing they have the option to leave the country, probably for somewhere better, unlike the Palestinians.
I won’t argue with streaming services go fuck themselves but music industry’s not being in a good place also deeply related with there are shit megaton quadrillion musicians spawning everyday now. And most of them are pretty good!
Making music got easier by decade and it’s around 500$ to have all kinds of tech and instruments better than what Radiohead used in Kid A, and learning resources are way more accessible now.
Total music related spending (vinyls, merch, tickets) skyrocketed compared to 80s or 90s as well, but it’s also split between 100 million artists, and not 100.000. Yet the listener headcount only doubled or tripled.
HTS is currently pledged to Syrian Salvation Government, which is basically the opposition government in exile (operating from Istanbul), governing NW Syria (4 mil pop) from the back seat for the last 10 years. HTS is just acting as its main (but not only) militia organization, and Jolani said HTS will oversee the Syrian state’s transition to SSG.
We’ll hear the names of Mohammed al-Bashir and Mustafa al-Mousa in the coming days.
HTS mostly consists of militants splintered off from Al Qaeda and ISIS, and waged war against them. Apparently they gave up “Salafist” terrorism to turn into a Syrian Nationalist movement instead. Jolani sounded more moderate than I was expecting, so let’s hope the new western backed puppet state brings some peace to Syrians after all.
Well yeah, Hitler was a vegetarian.
Sure, security is the most important thing there. But I would say that’s a maintenance task and not really a development one.
Other protocols/tech you’ve mentioned already 7 to 10 years old. I don’t think they will get more love than they already did.
