

I’m not familiar with how they do it in the UK, that’s why it surprised me that they don’t already do all the nonsense screenings and stuff. In my country at least gendery dysphoria needs to be “long-lasting and consistent” before it can be treated, so if you go to a doctor as a newly cracked egg that’s what will happen.
Obviously, the normal thing is just to lie and say we knew since we were 12 or whatever, but I have a couple of friends who went to healthcare personell before having contact with anyone in the trans community who could help them, and they all got punished for telling the truth.
