Sorry for pedantry but I only mention it in case you’re serious about the move you might end up using the words a lot - in this case you might like the word “emigrate” to describe what you’ll be doing as from your current position you would be describing the action from the “leaving” perspective more than the arriving.

Yep for sure. I joined Lemmy long enough ago (other burner account) great posts like these would only have 25 responses or so. Seeing these quality ones hit hundreds of responses is encouraging.

Yes true, but just for reference I live in Shanghai, and in a country of great inequality distribution there are many more early adopters and such here compared to most cities and towns.

I don’t know what my anecdote is worth, but I live full time in Shanghai and haven’t ever seen one of these. (Maybe I just didn’t notice? I think I would have)
