I honestly don’t think they did a test at all. It’s legal for cops to lie in this state and they probably did it just to try and scare them. Everyone I’ve talked to knows that the fentanyl problem is coming from inside the house. And it’s been maddening hearing him in his cronies claim otherwise.
Personally, I would interpret this differently. This wasn’t a lie, this was gross incompetence. I choose to accept their bullshit at face value and let it play out on its own.
These cops are so stupid and so incapable of completing their job that they either found a positive fentanyl test and were so incompetent as to not find the drugs, or so incompetent as to apply the drug test incorrectly. You can also assume a third option that these officers were on fentanyl and contaminated the test themselves with their own supply.
All three of these options all result in better odds of them being removed from their job than them lying, which is legal for them to do for some reason. And just to be clear my comment isn’t about what actually happened, it’s about sharing the “correct” narrative the same way they do.
I wish more people would talk about cops in terms of incompetence when they lie.

It takes a very special kind of bravery to risk everything and more for what you believe in, Knowing that you’ll be slandered and slurred by what you’re fighting against. I just hope in the end they’re all vindicated.
On another note, it’s wild that when the other side commits the same actions listed above it is never officially labeled as terrorism. We’re all living in crazy land.
My understanding of this is that it is caused partly by bone conduction. It might be possible that closing your ears by pressing frimly on your “tragus” or on the “mastoid process” could reduce the associated effects. The mastoid process is where the jaw meets the ear.

For all the left people I know, including myself, The reason we don’t want a line drawn is because sometimes special circumstances arise. There may be medical complications in the third trimester that would result in the mother’s death and it’s not feasible to exhaustively list every scenario that could land her in this situation so it’s better to just not a put a limit on it so she doesn’t have some bullshit hoop to jump through later while she’s dying.
That said, I don’t think there’s anyone genuinely arguing that people should be allowed to get abortions super late into the pregnancy just for funsies. Third trimester is the logical cut off to me, and most of the people I know agree or want it slightly shorter. We just don’t want the law to specify that since it can cause legal complications. It’s better that it be considered a medical standard.

To my knowledge there has never been a federal judge removed in anyway other than impeachment. You would have to take an untested claim to court, prove it, then still to apply that process to remove judges case by case after. Unfortunately, it’s not us that gets to decide whether or not something is legal, it’s up to the “supreme” Court. I just can’t see us convincing 6 of those justices to accept consequences for their and their party’s actions. This would be a hell of a legal long shot.
