The Offspring. Americana, Stuff is Messed up, the Kids Aren’t Alright…
They are asking because kids are kids no matter where you live. If we use the same word for the dish as Italians, it stands to reason that children who are still learning would have the same issue regardless of location.
But the government doesn’t regulate capitalism, they are owned by the capitalists. So many laws exist because corporations paid for them to, moreso in recent years but it was still bad 50+ years ago, just look at how successful the tobacco industry is.
I’m Canadian lol
I have the option of Door Dash or Skip. I try to only order from places that have in house delivery now.
In my experience they don’t refund if the driver is 20 minutes late because they went the wrong way or because they decided to take multiple orders. I’ve even had them drop my food off at the wrong place when I was standing right outside my door waiting for them. The people at the other place tried to tell the driver it didn’t belong to them but he just left it with them and left, my neighbour gave it to me. When I complained Door Dash said that because I got my order there was nothing they could do.
Been there too! My place isn’t even that hard to find, but it pisses me off when my kids are looking forward to some Edo and it never comes. The refund is fine, but we’re still hungry and now it’s 8 pm, now what am I supposed to do?
I can’t remember the last time I paid anything in cash that wasn’t my kids allowance. But on top of that Skip the Dishes ( I assume door dash too, but I used to drive for Skip so I can say them for sure) shows the driver how much they’ll make on the delivery and if they don’t like it they won’t accept it. If I’m paying in cash then all they’re being shown is the base distance rate and they’ll all deny it.
I don’t know computers lol
I know that’s the only way to change how the system works, but at the same time my conscience yells at me and tells me that if I don’t tip them, they might not be able to buy a necessity because they don’t make as much as counter staff.
I feel like it’s a catch 22
That’s a good point. I also hate that about food delivery services. I tip my drivers well, but I don’t like that I’m often giving a good tip and not getting good service in return. If I’d have known I was going to get bad service, I would have tipped based on distance only and it would be significantly less.
This is why I got a cheap Aeropress and milk frother. I pay enough for my latte, and the barista makes as much as I do, stop judging me for not tipping. I tip servers, not counter workers.
I love this! Officially adapted into my head canon now.
“I hope you’re getting this all down.”
I truly wish there was someone who could properly diagnose me. I did take a RAADS test a while back but I didn’t have a psychiatrist to bring my results to, so I go undiagnosed and likely will forever with the current health crisis. I don’t know if I can go on something like that without a proper diagnosis. I can’t even find a family doctor unfortunately.
But I appreciate the tip 😊 thank you.
That sounds heavenly. Mine will not shut up. And when I’ve run out of current problems to worry about, I start thinking about all my past fuck ups an embarrassments. And that’s just in the time it takes to a simple activity. When I’m at work it is constant flipping back and forth between my anxious thoughts and doing my work and worrying about how I might be fucking up my work.
Did you maybe misunderstand what the commenter was asking for? We kind of need to know the search parameters and results before anyone could actually tell OP where they went wrong. Search engines are still search engines, even if you have to scroll through 6 ads to get to the results
I doubt many people would willingly go through it a second time.
This is the only thing that would make me say no. I could relive the shitty school years, I could not relive the shitty home years.
Most people who aren’t right-wing nut jobs know how to admit when they’re wrong about something and how to be happy for something that actually is a positive for the majority of people who aren’t already rich, regardless of how that result was achieved.
Tariffs are normal, they encourage a strong local economy that doesn’t get screwed over by a dominant economy that decides to use the trade relationship against the local economy, but they haven’t been “aggressive” since the last time they were used as an act of war and ended up causing a depression.
