The history of impeachment in the United States is important to understanding the Bill Clinton saga. The bottom line here is that if anyone manages to eliminate prosecution for acts performed while they are president, expect the Punisher. In fact, while I don’t normally support violence, I’d have to say it’s a patriot’s duty.

Totally agree. I’m not sure why everyone focuses so hard on determining how many letters there are in their alphabet. 5 years from now it might be totally diff. It would be so refreshing if people simply said “Here’s what floats my boat today”

No, and you wonder why presidents keep pressing to give themselves more executive authority. The screaming children in Congress who never learned how to share are about to give the American people one more nothing-sandwich, just like every meal we’ve been served for decades.

You remember that recent story about the fact that we can seemingly go to war without Congress’ approval? Yeah, just imagine trying to get these twats to agree to do anything militarily. They’d still be arguing after the smoke cleared.

Trump’s obviously butthurt he wasn’t cast in a Mad Max movie, so he’s making the world a dystopian nightmare world that worships gas.

Now he just needs to eat the hearts of 10 virgins to de-age himself. That way he can ride around on his war-mobile with his shirt off so he can impress his idol, Putin.

Came here to say this. Imagine the backroom conversations going on in Parliament when the chickens came home to roost. I’m not saying they’re wrong, btw, but it just seems wild that they were the one suggesting a Palestinian state when they carved out Israel back in the day and have done literally nothing to actually make it happen.

That sounds like someone else we all know.

I dunno, I’m seeing this somewhat differently. Their ‘claim’ was that Ukraine shot down their own people.

This intelligence that they were going to have important targets who were originally going to board the plane hang back at the last moment gives a VERY different story, and that’s why this is news.

What it says is that they decided to kill the POWs themselves and make it ‘look’ like Ukraine did it, so they stopped regular travel for their own people.

Case closed.

This is the real stuff here. I’d like to put another question to you.

Donald Trump as a strongman was the whole image he projected in his first election, but the point at that time wasn’t “I’m a dictator” but “It’s time someone actually got something done at the top.”. Even with all this fire and brimstone, I think this underlying suspicion that our government doesn’t actually govern effectively is still the real problem.

I don’t know that it’s one that the Democrats can cure either, even if they somehow come out on top. Do you?
