8 days agoYou can make it work using ReVanced. Pretty straightforward process too. I do go back to reddit for some stuff where Lemmy hasn’t hit critical mass yet, but they get no participation from me.

That particular one is Taiwanese I believe, and passed several minutes before the outage maintaining a constant pace.
Finnish border guard has stopped a tanker registered to Cook Islands that’s part of the Russian shadow fleet, which slowed down significantly while crossing the cable and was on site when the outage started.
A few years ago I got myself a nice tea maker with adjustable temperature and brew time. Then I got some nice Assam tea, brewed a pot, and it turned out so nice I decided it didn’t even need milk. Then I ended up on a wikipedia spiral and found out that the Brits apparently started putting milk in their tea when they started drinking Assam tea, after being used to milder Chinese teas. Heh.

Going some 20-25 years back I recall some of my friends from English speaking countries using it as gender neutral, and I guess once I wrapped my head around it, that’s how it’s been for me. But your mileage may certainly vary.
