I think the fundamental problem with the AR glasses is something that can’t be overcome.
I think its easy to see the utility to owning a pair of glasses that look good and provide real time information as desired for what you are looking at or hearing.
HOWEVER, I think very few people will want the product these co.panies will make. This will be a method to throw ads literally in front of your eyeballs. Enshitification is too big of a thing now and so any new product is tainted by the expectation it will rapidly turn to garbage at a high price to you.
Also, while we may think we can be trusted, we dont trust anyone else having all that info, I dont like the obvious privacy implications that these can present. Filming with them is also terrifying.
I was getting a stable 30fps on mid settings. Having played at home at much higher resolution, I see you lose a lot, but its still very playable.
It plays well on the steam deck day 1 as well, if that matters to anyone here. I played the first 2 hours on my deck from work with no issues.
Shaders took like 10 minutes but the rest of the load times were all fine.
I have it make me excel formulas that I know are possible, but I can’t remember the names or makeup for. Afterwords I always ask “what’s a better way to display this data?” And I sometimes get a good response. Because of data security reasons I dont give it any real data but we have an internal one I can use for such things and I sometimes throw spreadsheets in for random queries that I can make in plain language.
Well since its always projection with these losers, I wonder what he’s been playing lately that he feels so guilty about.
RFK eats said bat.
It’s always this. History has borne it out.
I’m kinda baffled by the ruling being about the rape then. If it’s legal there it didn’t need to even be stated. Instead it should be about the murder of his wife. I wonder what their laws around manslaughter are like. I’m sure the judge would call it an accident (because they’re awful) but it’s still an action that directly led to her death and that seems like something that should be punished.
My goto response is always “who knows?” Like it’s a mystery for the ages, and I’m just as puzzled. That implies I’m just as confused as her and then we can both just keep watching.
They don’t unless you have a good contract with them and even then it’s dependent on zones and package size.
Fun fact: USPS acknowledges that our US territories are domestic while UPS and FedEx treat them as international. So its a little more of a chore and cost to ship to Puerto Rico and the like through anyone but USPS from the 50 states.
We don’t, unless it’s alot of food. So much food in fact that the equivalent sized package would cost more than $10.50 for USPS to take 3+ days to deliver.
I love USPS but this whole thread makes people look like they’ve been huffing markers all afternoon.
Not just same day, same hour. That 1/3 cost comes with a 50x delay.
Sounds like military spending is gonna have to go up then!
Well, if they are flown there, take them no matter the circumstances. What else could I have possibly meant by that?
If they’re your citizens and they’ve been nabbed off the street in a hostile foreign country (USA) don’t make them suffer for your principles and let them end up in some camp or holding cell, because that’s what these nuts are gonna do. They 100% will be abused if they get rejected back out of Columbia, because that’s a clear sign no one cares about their well being.
If the Nazis have grabbed your citizens, please take them back. Leaving them in the hands of Nazis is a cruelty of its own.
Huh? What are you talking about? That’s not a statement trusting Trump. The headline implies the flights were rejected. They weren’t. Drink more coffee dude. It’s Trump’s propaganda that they were rejected.
I mean… he didn’t ban the flights in the first place. He just declared he would not accept his countrymen being treated poorly on return. I think the objection was packing them all in military planes instead of normal commercial flights your average person travels. It had more to do with mistreatment of their citizens in the process of repatriation, which is valid.
It does ruin most things doesn’t it? 😮💨
