His remark about disassociating, is a major characteristic of all dissociative phenomena involving a detachment from reality, which we are seeing above. He’s hinting that he’s still subconsciously aware of his mistake and is simply furious that he slipped up. I wouldn’t be surprised if he eventually decides to return.

I find it unbelievable that he claimed to have handled himself with dignity and grace. It’s as if he’s incapable of acknowledging or addressing his wrongdoing. This behavior is almost sociopathic.

As someone with a medical background, I’m going to wager that you have allergies. When you hit your thirties, sleep apnea tends to show, and it doesn’t always manifest as snoring or your awareness of the issue. Therefore, a sleep apnea test is necessary to provide an accurate diagnosis.

You might also want to try requesting an allergy panel. If you don’t have insurance, that could make it harder and you might want to start taking daily allergy meds and sleeping mainly on your left side.
