(Red shirt reference, in case that played better in my head than it came out.)

Amusing how you’ve already judged both me and my intent while demanding I explain it. Maybe don’t jump to conclusions so readily next time, eh?

I was thinking more George Michael when I read that.

No, it’s not - Dems are certainly better, but only because they’re not so totalitarian. They still serve us up to their corporate masters, however.

Somewhere there was a breakdown in communication. That “XXX” version was supposed to be based upon the Vin Diesel movie.

TLDR Hispanic men. They’re strongly Democratic now, so they haven’t learned a damned thing.
EDIT: as the thread below has demonstrated, you all jump to conclusions about my meaning too easily. I’m saying Democrats - while definitely better on the totalitarian aspect, so this is not a “both sides” take - still serve us up to their corporate masters, as Hakeem Jeffries has recently demonstrated with his stated lack of support for universal healthcare.

What if you’re down with going down?
Because there was a former employee active shooter.
And here I was expecting the AI to be depressed.

He’ll just keep stomping his feet like a whiney toddler, hoping to wear them down until he gets his way. Can’t believe we’re not even halfway through his term yet.

I think their implication was that the right thinks she’s too extreme to actually win, so they’d prefer she be the candidate. This is, of course, a product of their absurdly skewed views of what “extreme” is. She’s no tankie, for example.

I keep mine on my shoulder to minimize the water mess from that damned Babel fish.

Less than three months from an election. Nah, couldn’t be…
Love the Y2K throwback.
A combination of man, woman and sperm
So… a porno?

To remind you just how much you were fucked when paying for it.

He can introduce the most sane, rational, logical bills this country has ever seen, and there’s no chance of it passing until after the 2028 election at best. Even with the current progressive momentum, there simply aren’t going to be enough votes to pass anything good (especially enough to overcome any virtually certain veto) unless progressives rout everybody else in both this year and the 2028 elections.
Looks very Lara Croft on a day off.

The problem is (at least in the USA) that lawmakers are never personally held responsible for the crappy laws they pass. It’s a major contributor to how screwed up this country has become because they can force their personal ideology on everyone, no matter how misguided. This is something I strongly believe needs to be rectified to make real progress, but I’m not sure how that should happen.
As I recall, a big part of the problem was that they integrated IE throughout the OS so they could claim it was a necessary component of Windows. Thankfully, that didn’t fly. Well, for a while, at least…
