I usually transfer them to new containers when the roots hit the bottom so they don’t get root bound, but I guess that would take more time than starting from deeper pots.

I’ve used the 2" six slot trays to great effect all the time. All the tomatoes I’ve transplanted from those this year are doing awesome. Why would it need to be 4"?
IIRC there’s only like 54 years of natural gas supply at current consumption rate with all known deposits tapped. So the less use the better. Coal is supposed to be in the 300-400 year range.
Seems like there’s potential space in a lot of the undercarriage, or as flat packs at the base of the engine and trunk compartments.
There are some companies working on electric crate engines for conversion, I forget the names but they should be ready sometime soon
Ford has at least one now, I think VW does as well
See, sometimes when I’m on all the points is buried deep. Sometimes it’s my first page and a half, and I’ve blocked some of them because they’re not my kink.
Local is my SFW lemmy. All is where the gifs swim in the porn sea.
Does he mean the work visa for seasonal labor THAT WE ALREADY HAVE?
Some of my students use AI. They regularly submit assignments with incorrect information because even though they got the ai to do the research for them they don’t know which part to pull. In a niche science subject, ai doesn’t always have the answers. Especially when I’m using information that hasn’t been published online or that has been paywalled in journals.
It’s very depressing to see them use ai for something that should be simple reasoning as well, like “compare and contrast coal power to solar power, you may use your notes”.
Depends on how hard it is to set the camps on fire and how much they’re hidden from the local population. In a better timeliness.
In this timeline, it would probably occur in a number of the states but I do like to hope some would resist.
…and that’s when I bought the horse a prostitute.
It’s not because they have friends but because it is perceived that most people want to be their friend, thus popular (usually a middle school/high school trope where bullying ran rampant as a way for kids to develop their own ego boundaries). If they were just shitty and people didn’t want to know them, it wouldn’t be popular
Most of the container potato setups I see use a lot of sand and straw which I thought would help with the fungal growth, though they’re usually set up in something like a large trash can with an air layer of insulation around since it hold heat less than rocks but the white block idea with sunken drip line sounds intriguing. We get a lot of clay in my area, but it’s also pretty rainy most of summer so I would probably need some sort of sensor in the soil to figure out when it’s dried enough for more watering. Thanks for the response!
I have a tiny yard in the south and it’s pretty much paved so container is the only way I can go until (if?) I manage to buy a house with a plantable area. Currently have some citrus in containers producing, a bunch of basil, tomatoes, and some various sprawlers like squash. I wish I had the space to put them all in the ground but I gotta work with what I have. Usually use heirloom seeds or hardware starter plants but gotta pick varieties that are good for containers so I don’t get that many options. I figured that potatoes would still be productive in the seasons when tomatoes aren’t growing on the branches due to heat or cold but I could be wrong since i’m still learning a lot.
Isn’t she also from California? Her and Newsom wouldn’t work for the same (legal) reason Trump couldn’t go with DeSatan.
Have you tried a grafted cherry tomato/white potato plant? I’ve been looking at trying it out just because growing two produces with “one plant” seems really interesting to me and I’ve read a bit about how they’re closely related enough that you can graft the tomato to the top of the potato plant.
Also trying to get more people into container gardening and it seems like a good space saver.
They’re also delicious.
Pretty sure spez would taste like a stick of deodorant mixed with gutter oil.
Possibly because Americans as a general group are more diverse than any other country and so run into the “doesn’t look like me, might be scary” conflict more often…
That being said, every country has this. From France giving their black players a whole bunch of racist shit, to the Greeks killing refugees that don’t look like them through negligence, to the Germans who still shit all over the Romani people for having a different appearance/culture.
It’s not a unique feature to the US.
As for using colors to describe people based on their skin tone… Every language does it as far as I can tell. I don’t understand why you find that odd. It can be a useful descriptor and if you want to be shade specific, you’re more than welcome to.
