Dude in my gym just brought it up. Says we can sign a petition and if we get 10% of the population to sign it, the government will make a referendum and we can all vote on it. He doesn’t think Alberta would have to pay back anything like highways, airports, banks and our share of the Canadian debt. Also thinks we can use the USD instead of the CAD which I find funny.
They talked about having higher numbers skewing the models so yeah, it’ll be something that’ll adjust over time. I’m quite happy with how everything turned out.
I will never understand why Signh said he would topple the Trudeau Liberals knowing how much of a lead the Conservatives had at the time. Did he really think he’d get more from Pierre with a majority than Trudeau with a minority? He fucked up and now is paying the price.
They did much better in ON that many thought, but they lost and Pierre lost his seat. So that’s great news.
The problem with the Conservative vote is it’s very concentrated in provinces with less seats. Winning AB/SK/MB won’t matter if you lose enough seats in BC/ON/PQ, mostly ON.
The fact that those ads didn’t show Pierre at all is quite telling.

My e-scooter loses a lot of range even in single digit positive numbers. I can’t imagine using it in sub-zero weather and I need my range to get to work and back without bringing my charger with me.
