I wonder if they’ll point the finger in the right direction. We have many decades of experience of dissatisfied citizens simply taking their rage out on the current culture war target instead of actual oppressors.

I’m always mildly concerned about how shocked people are about animals being conscious beings with feelings. Do people really think we are mentally that different from other animals with brains?
