Big picture has the same performance issues as gaming mode on nvidia though doesn’t it?
I remember my partner trying it when we first built her pc and it was awful. Although at the time she was on a 1050 Ti temporarily, which also had other issues on the OS. She’s now on a 3050 so maybe it’s better now?
That means having to use big picture mode though right?

Anyone know if there’s a way to get junk store for bazzite desktop?
It would be great for my partner who has bazzite but doesn’t touch the gaming mode because she has an nvidia card at the moment and it runs like dog shit.
This is her first Linux experience so it would be nice to have something really simple for her to use.

By saying he’s not a tech guy probably just means he’s not a programmer. But with how he’s done everything he definitely has the chops to be one.
He seems to be a guy that really likes to tinker with things. And those are the kind of people that Linux, especially arch, really latches onto.
Because Amazon just have a shit algorithm. They don’t distinguish single purchase items but their algorithm is skewed to try and get you to come back to get the things you got in the past.
If you’re already taking about a product you’ve likely already been swayed by targeted marketing (not just online but physical/traditional too). And you only become more aware after you’ve seen an ad with it still on your mind. And this is the moment where some people say that their phone must’ve been listening to them earlier on, because they can’t seem to comprehend cohorts and marketing in general.
Nah it’s the thumb finger, like the index finger etc. We have fully truncated it to just thumb because of how it feels more unique to the others. Doesn’t mean it no longer fits the categorisation though.
Socialism != Communism though
It’s okay to say you’re a socialist but too not like communism.
I for one really like socialist policies like national healthcare which I get in the UK etc. But I don’t think full communism is the way to go for a modern society. Plus the track record of every time a country tries to head towards full communism, the door is left wide open for a dictator, and someone takes it.
Use smart tube for TV

Does it have proper .sln support with a solution explorer?
I’m not being forced to use visual studio. But because of dev ops licenses we get visual studio licenses alongside it so because of that the company isn’t willing (and rightly so in my opinion) to foot the expensive (for a small company) bill for rider.
Which is why I’ve landed on vs code.
Then I’m reliant on my current workplace rather than figuring out a consistent way to code at work, outside of work and at any other future workplace.
Don’t want to have to get used to one kind of workflow to then not being able to use it in another setting.
I used vscodium for a bit but their latest C# Dev kit is locked to VS Code proper :(
I even made a cool bash script that would download and install ms vs store extensions and all of their dependencies before hitting this roadblock (to get the ones not available on open vsx).

I’ve been looking into firefox forks too.
I would like to keep contactless via my phone as I don’t ever really carry my wallet with me anymore these days so maybe Google pay will have to stay. Bit annoying that it won’t be able to be used on whatever browser I end up going with though :(

Yeah Skype was already dead by then and when normies wanted to start using video calls on the reg, they ended up with zoom either because their work were already using it elsewhere or from being recommended by others that had that as their reason.
