I’ve experienced something similar where I have imported a deck from somewhere because it looked interesting, crafted it on MTGA, played couple matches against the bot to familiarize with it, just to learn later that more than half of the deck is not standard legal… Well at least now I know that I should check what format that deck was built for. Luckily it was a budget deck with no rares.

Does sound like you would end up with a pretty functional deck. I can see this doing rather well especially in the casual format.

One day I hope to come up with a topic worth a post. I have no idea how some of you, like The Picard Maneuver, manage to post daily.
