Anyone know if loops has a good app out, or if there’s one in the works thats coming out soon?
You have my respect and support, friend 👍
I would be genuinely astounded if anybody does anything other than go to work, keep their head down, and try to survive… But more power to you, my guy
Well if you define death as “not existing” then 100% of people who don’t experience life are also dead.
Honestly not sure if the concept of Facebook was so great to begin with actually…
The thing that gets me is the McDonald’s employees tip. Whenever something like this happens the police are flooded with false information and bad tips, this case would have been even moreso due to the politics involved. What made them decide this random person in another state was credible? What about this tip in particular made them say “this information should be followed up on.”
Huh, the commenter mentioned it really casually but its a fun fact that Peter is actually just a nickname for the apostle Simon that does essentially mean Rocky or Rocko. The original name Petros just means rock like in the word petrified.
Ok, but they should logically be afraid of causing it. The only reason not to be afraid of the end of the world is if you’re going to the good afterlife.
I mean by the by it was a funny movie and I liked it. But when you get right down to it, it was a hail-mary attempt by Matel to switch the narrative about their toys being unhealthy for young women’s body image. I’d say thats the only consistent message it had.
Do you think so? Consider the subtext, not just the genders of the actors.
The conflict of the film is, quite literally, an oppressed sex lashing out at the society that oppressed them and taking control. The resolution is the previously dominant sex regaining control and putting the oppressed sex back in their former, subservient positition.
It is kind of funny that the movie’s ultimate message was that a society with strictly enforced gender roles and a dominant sex is good.
Also where was the queer representation? They showed magic earing Ken but no gay characters? Really??
Tbh at some point GW kinda forgot that the imperium was supposed to be satire.
Skyrim added some cool lore. Not as much as morrowind sure but the Thalmor, the dragon priests, and the vampire stuff was all awesome in my opinion.
In the original game? I played before the DLC
I had a really similar experience playing cyberpunk weirdly. Like, you think you’re being clever by doing something that logically should save you based on the established rules of the world, then the writers decide to pull the rug out right at the end and say “nope, sorry we’ve got a thematic ending in mind and you have to die no matter what”. Really left a sour taste in my mouth.
I think you’re right. The only discrepancy I can think of might be that you implicitly know that “andalley” has meaning and context beyond what you currently understand and ascribe to it. A dog probably doesn’t think too hard about whether walking is the action of moving one’s legs or the state of being outside.
