They will eventually change the default to “on.”
I love this thing too hell and back. This is exactly what I want in a car/truck.
Here’s the thing, work takes up like half your day. If you aren’t allowed to be a normal human at work, you’re going to be a miserable person. That being said, a normal person doesn’t ask for a phone number after a few sentences. They at a minimum have a conversation long enough to establish that having a second conversation would actually be an enjoyable experience. That’s probably not gonna happen at a TSA checkpoint and that’s fine.
Man, I guess there’s no point in even trying to improve the system if there’s going to be opposition.
I will advocate to replace it when I’m in office and a Democrat, against the protests of some of my co-workers. As the other commenter pointed out, Newsom killed an anti-FPTP bill, but that means there’s enough support in the California legislature to get a bill to his desk.
I hold no illusions that fixing one aspect of this flawed existence will fix all the other aspects of this flawed existence.
I mean, I want to replace FPTP though. Any kind of proportional system is ideal, but Sequential Proportional Approval Voting is ideal.
“Why Civil Resistance Works” is a good book about why civil disobedience is the most effective means of resisting a regime. It’s not an easy read, but it’s still great info.
Which workforce? The Chinese? There’s only one union and it’s run by the government. Any non-government unions are illegal.
The US is gaining a new interest in unions, but we have our own anti-union laws to deal with. Not as bad China’s obviously.
These are good suggestions! I would also expect acetone to be a poor choice in this scenario. I worked as a chemist for a while, but I didn’t do any organic stuff as a professional, so it’s all very hazy memories from orgo 1 and 2.
I have plenty of test pieces.
IPA sounds like a great idea, I’ll start with that.
It’s not an overpass. A loose brick falls off a truck going in the opposite direction, bounces off the pavement once, then goes through the windshield.
Edit: oh hurray, there’s two different brick videos.
It goes near, but not through Ukraine.
Whoops. Point still stands.
I wish I had enough money to buy 25 acres without a clear idea of what to do with it.
we completely fucked up the environment
Does the commenter not include themselves in “we?”
We need to run an exciting candidate. Their race doesn’t matter. Elections these days are about getting your base excited and making the opponent’s apathetic. AOC is exciting. While her being a minority woman will piss off far right voters, it won’t be like it was with Hilary, who had decades of media attacks conditioning the right to absolutely despise her.
I feel like accepting a trans person is, in fact, conditional on their support for other trans people. Like, it doesn’t have to be their whole personality, but full-throatedly supporting the anti-trans administration is the exact opposite of supporting the trans community.
The mask will still decrease your initial exposure “load,” which correlates with the severity of your infection. Fewer starter viruses means a less impactful infection (as far as COVID is concerned).
