The big difference being that most people don’t know or care to learn how to download their own OS. Installing a browser is quick and easy in comparison.

I’ve been out of the tech world a minute now so maybe its changed but last I knew no PCs came with Linux preinstalled and you can’t just get a Linux OS disk to use to install.

I agree with that i also think they should offer a more complex test that will extend that time to 10 years. After a certain age though you’re only eligible for a 5 year extention.

Tiktok itself isn’t pushing it the creators are. Plenty of them getting banned though as the rules are strict.

The US politicians have destabilized the whole country. The apps just gives a place to be vocal. The US uses our data against us we just ignore it because they say they don’t.

Honestly I’m just at the point where I’m sitting back watching this country be torn apart. Everything anyone ever has done is wrong but also maybe it’s right and everyone acts like they know which is which. The country is entirely divided when the war within itself kicks off I’ll be just on my porch watching because I’m done trying to make heads or tails of this mess.

Meanwhile all the schools in my area are polling places so kids don’t have school.

This isn’t something new or unique. Up until 2015ish whenever people referenced 10 years ago people would think it was referring to the 90’s. It’s a perception of time thing. Eventually the same will happen when we are out of the 20’s they’ll think 2020 was eons ago.

Christmas starts in August. It’s disgusting. Whenever I point these things out everyone thinks I hate Christmas. I really don’t. Christmas joy can’t last half a year it’s unreasonable. To counter it i only put my tree up 2 weeks before Christmas. I’m not gonna spend all day in Christmas land everywhere then coming home to it.

I’m not vegan and won’t ever be but can see that it does work just not to the extent a lot of them would like the world to. Like I said I’m not vegan however with the innovation of the meatless foods like the beyond burgers and such I’d be willing to try it IF I don’t have to pay and if I like it then that’s 1 more thing I’ll do towards a better eco system even if microscopic. Then you have kids/teens who will see this and begin to lean towards being vegan as they wouldn’t like what they see/learn.

At the end of the day even if it’s a small audience they’ll still reach people and change life styles which is ok

The issue is with the information. Like the one above us said they want to be notified that their ride has arrived but to allow that notification you have be willing to accept advertisements as well.

It’s the reason a majority of people just straight up kill notifications. Way to many useless ones to justify the 1 in 8 that you want.

I’m curious how so? Wouldn’t an influx of people immigrating into any country cause a dramatic economic shift? I’m aware racism plays a part of the selection process but I can’t imagine it’s the sole reason for such strict control over immigration.

Just had a conversation with my buddy who does security and hes adamant the only reason prices are going up is because of theft. I asked what came first the jump in thefts or the price gouging to which his tuned swapped to “They gotta pay to get these locked shelves and they keep reducing security head count” which of course I had to explain that the one time purchase of the cabinet is immensely cheaper than head count so based off that the prices should actually be dropping by installing them.

Yah, why not? I had $15 to just answer questions. If you’re smart just answer them with whatever and the longer you make the survey the more you’ll make.

It’s a very select group of individuals who can pull it off. My friends tried and was sent on their way within 10 minutes. Unless the therapist is just interested is cashing out on the prank it may not go as intended

Did you read the entire post? They clearly state multiple times that re-releasing would be fine too. They’re saying if the companies aren’t planning to do anything why not just set stuff to free there’s no harm on the older consoles for doing so. If they release them on say the switch or Xbox we can atleast purchase them to have fun. Look at pokemon the entire community wants to play the old games but aren’t able to unless they buy from a private seller.

I remember living in a big city when the law was passed. The city hall hired cleaners to remove the smell. I can’t confirm the whole building as it’s absolutely massive but I do remember seeing the smallest areas being scrubbed. Out of every building in the area it turned out the absolute best. 1 mcdonalds ended up remodeling the whole place but the smell was still a little faint.

It’s not that deep. It’s a fantasy world that people can suspend themselves in and each person has their own self made story. If we start nitpicking which fantasy worlds have done something politically motivated we would be left with literally nothing to read/watch.
