If you pay for a modern Kirby game (or modern Nintendo game in general), it tells the evildoers, "I like being treated like shit! I like getting sued for stupid reasons! I like it when you bully your fans and fan-game developers! I like how you’re against media preservation and want to make it more difficult if not impossible for everyone else! I like getting charged more for objetively worse games on an objectively worse console! I like how you want to take away my right to repair! I LOVE HOW EVIL YOU ARE! PLEASE BULLY US MORE! Enjoying a Kirby game is COMPLETELY different than paying for one, you know.

If you PAY for a game that you know is DESIGNED to suck (and I’m not just talking about the game itself being terrible, I mean the game is actively harmful to the industry), you are part of the problem. ESPECIALLY if you shut down any legitamite criticism for the game or warnings of how obviously problematic the game is to the economy/planet. At that point, you’re just acting like unpaid PR.
