What endless redirect, link hijacking hell was that?

It can be a treacherous hike in bad weather! You can arrange for bus pickup because it’s a through hike, but if the weather is so bad, they’ll email you and tell you the bus is canceled. Absolutely worth hiking if you’re ever in NZ!

My favorite cocktail is an old fashioned. Depending on the bar, bourbon won’t be the biggest differentiator. Some places hurt my soul and use too much simple syrup and make it too sweet. Others put a bunch of small ice cubes which quickly melt and that’s not great either. Woodford is solid and widely available. I can’t remember the last time I haven’t had that stocked at home 😊

Bulleit is my go-to for cocktails at a bar. It’s a fine flavor, widely available, and not too expensive. If you’re ordering a cocktail you really don’t need anything too nice because you’re masking/blending the flavor with others. Buffalo Trace is my other go-to for the same reasons there.

Getting a nice bourbon neat, well, that’s usually so expensive at a bar I’ll only get it if the company is paying 😅

Yeah, but the restrictions are also getting loosened to fill some of the positions. So we’re getting the people we never thought should be on the police force either 😬 at least that’s the case in Chicago. It makes for a worse experience over time.

Don’t get me wrong, there is so much reform that’s needed still. If there’s an emergency I am calling the police, and I’d like someone who knows what they’re doing to respond.

One feature was really sweet though: being able to edit the Jenkinsfile script inline and run it. On the other hand, that encouraged the wild cowboy lands. Contrasted to GitHub Actions, you get to see how many commits it took to get right 🙃

I’m on board with the majority of this, but I question the restricted right on red. What benefit does that bring? Collisions with bicyclists come to mind, but I think turning right on green, when everyone is moving forward and faster, is more risky.
