I watched that episode last night!

Ecowitt has been really good. I’ve had my station for two years now. Great equipment.

I’ve heard a lot of good things about reolink cameras on self hosting communities. But anything that supports rtsp will likely be ok.

You could ask her about her mother. Talk about fond memories.

Losing your mother is hard. This year it will be 5 years for me.

Letting her talk about her might be a good emotional outlet. It might make her cry more, but that isn’t a bad thing.

It always hurts to talk about. But I do feel better when I can share a bit of her life.

You need to have that kind of friendship where it wouldn’t be strange. If you only nod to each other at the lunch table, then perhaps just leave it.

The benefit is also it’s curse. It’s all open, so there can be a bunch of names and a bunch of apps. Nobody agrees what the best app is.

But once you get your own ecosystem set up, it is amazing.

It isn’t just about the military. I’ve not read the article, but Germany suffers from not having enough people working in social services. This problem got worse after getting rid of conscription. You could either choose military service or social work.

By reintroducing it, they hope to fill in some gaps.
