There was room for a big populist party with mass appeal and they fill that void. And the media is misrepresenting his voters. I am not one of them, and would never be, but I do know quite a few of people that switched to PVV and they did so because they felt he would work to get the lower middle class and elderly a better standard of living, something all other parties seem to fail to deliver on.

Intoletance has originally always been a right wing mainstay and that is why the PVV are lumped in with that. But if you look at their program, apart from the anti-islam rhetoric, they want affordable care and lower the pension age. Clear centrist/left-wing viewpoints. And this is overlooked by the oversimplifying media. Yes, PVV are riding on the wave of anti immigration sentiment. But they reached this level of support by not being fascists like the FvD for example. The old left/right wing nomenclature is not sufficient to describe the ways parties amd society change.

On any case, the foreign media is tarring the PVV voters with the brush of racist extremists, and the reality is much, much more nuanced.

There are more diets than keto that are low carb and/or use bacon and there’s lots of people that use them for health reasons. The fact that some douches flaunt keto or other flavour of the season diets on social media does not mean there’s not many people following similar diets, supported by real dietists and/or doctors for valid reason with great success to their health.

Yes and no. Keto and other low carb diets encourage you to eat bacon, but do be aware that you need to keep watching your salt intake as well as the type of fats used to prepare the bacon. Aditionally, this would also mean you do not get to eat most breads and pasta for instance. So yes to lots of bacon but no to lots of other good eats so that’s why these diets are for those that need them due to e.g. pre-diabetis 2 or other health scares/risks.

The one thing pixel is better at in my expeirence is the digital zoom, I can get insane detail at 20+ zoom levels that I could never even approximate with a Samsung.

If you feel happy with the current state of reddit you should be there. I could not stomach it anymore so I’m at the next best alternative, that has all the potential. You need to take the sour with the sweet in all new ventures. But if that’s not for you just go just go where you feel fine, nobody is making you stay or is invested in having people stick around that do not feel they want to be here.

The Pixel is the far superior product as far as I am concerned: Faster, more stable, no bloatware and the best camera around.

But, and this might be a big but for some, if you need repairs or service outside of insurance you are SOL. There’s not a lot of companies doing Pixel repairs and if they do the parts are insanely expensive. I needed a screen replace and it cost almost as much as the phone itself in parts and labour. And the end result is a screen that gets dirtier and a non-functioning fingerprint sensor. Not optimal.

Awesome phone, but pray you do not need service.
