Anecdotal, I guess, but my cat loves having her claws trimmed. She doesn’t even do it for the treat. And she continues to scratch everything afterwards, which is fine, the only time we cut them is if she scratches us when playing.

I miss Snake

I found out when looking into the term “tomboy” that a “tom” was a term for a boisterous and unruly boy. The word “tom” does come from tomcat as others have said because unneutered tomcats are often loud and unruly. I suspect Peeping Tom has a similar “tom” origin: an unruly boy that peeps on girls.

I remember when one of my cousins shared a meme on Facebook that was made from a poem a wrote. I was very happy, but it was also a bit weird. He didn’t know I wrote it.

What is it with you and this labyrinth?

I’ve experienced the same thing. I miss it sometimes.

I know they don’t do it out of malice. I even sent them the meme as well. They’re (mostly) a good group, but it would be nice if they roleplayed in character more. I think a few of them are pretty new players though, which probably affects that.

I don’t often self-insert. This character is probably the most self-insert I’ve done in the 10 years I’ve been playing D&D and most of that is incidental (him being raised in a theocratic city was really just because the addition made his story more fun). The gender thing would just be nice, and it’s a pretty minor aspect of what your character is, I would think. Besides, I think there’s always going to be aspects of the player that leak into the character, even if you don’t start off that way, it’s the nature of the game.

I’m not out to them, or most people in my life…
