Absolutely, it’s definitely a bigger burden for you to shell out $1000 for a top of the line phone, and then pay hundreds of dollars a month for service…dude, An android phone from Dollar General is $30 and pay as you go. You’re just putting the burden off to others because you don’t want to be inconvenienced.

The web is such a cleaner experience without it! I was using no script to just allow individual scripts for sites that I wanted to function like normal but for 90% of the web I can get by with like no JS.
So, if 10 different users subscribed to 10 different things all that data is now synced and hosted on their server of origin? That sounds like the data can get massive fast.
It’s not MS but Google Drive suffered data loss back in November. Any company can accidentally fuck something up. That’s why I self host. When I eventually loose data, it will be my own damn fault!
