I love the three-toed skinks, such cute little darlings. More skink love is needed in this world

I know it’s subjective, and not denying your experience. But for other readers, the og Linkbuds are hands down the most comfortable headphones I have ever worn, without exception. I sometimes even forget I’m wearing them.
Obviously your mileage may vary, but if they sound like they might be your thing, it’s worth giving them a go, especially with the crazy low sales atm
At the moment it looks like what the market is demanding. A few years ago specialisation was in

This is the pick yourself up by your bootstraps version of raising a child. You can’t seriously expect a 12 year old to have enough wisdom and initiative to do this? Why do we have this unrealistic expectation that men are super capable and just choose to be failures? It’s the same system that fails everybody else, that’s also failing them
Springtails and certain mites also love to eat fungus. I use them to keep mold under control in my terrariums
The main issue with YouTube premium is the price, I can’t imagine that they’re making anywhere near $14 a month from showing me ads that I never click on. I’d love to see a breakdown, including how much is subsiding free users, how much is going to creators, and how much is going into the pockets of shareholders.
I think like most if not all of the people I know would easily pay $5 dollars for premium
Yeah totally, fighting it also helps buy more time and minimise the “too fast” part
Exactly, the Ukrainian seasoning costs way too much to import nowadays
I’m honestly not sure if this is a better outcome than him being dead. I think the new even more paranoid batshit Trump is doing way more damage than his literal death would have
I can understand that the elderly aren’t as physically capable as the newer generation, so in a tribal scenario the place they would provide the most value is as teachers and mentors.
The weird part is why this is limited to women, and “whole purpose” qualifier seems extreme? And wtf are the elderly men doing in this scenario?!
Also, I’m not sure if republicans have noticed, but we have advanced past the stone age
I think you’re taking it too literally, the books have many statements that are contradictory. It’s about the general message. In general, the bible is very pro-children, it has passages where God literally tells people he made them in the womb himself. And funnily enough, modern highly Christian nations have these ideals, and takes them to extremes.
The Qur’an has a lot of violent punishment, which is then in a lot of cases moderated in modern Islamic countries. Saudi Arabia for example, may only cut off one hand for thievery, or none if the crime is light enough. It sets precedent and normalises these actions
Yes, but there are multiple references to cutting off hands/feet. It’s hardly setting a good example.
We don’t try to excuse Christianity and their god awful abortion takes as local culture
I don’t understand why we give Islam a pass, a lot of the religion is based on the same barbaric Christian beliefs that we’re all too happy to very rightly call out and shit on. I’d even say the Qur’an is worse than the Christian bible in many ways, given the war heavy times it was written in.
We obviously need to be careful of equating Muslim with brown, and I get that a lot of people are just racist and don’t have a more in-depth understanding of the actual religion. But the religion of Islam itself doesn’t just deserve a free pass because of that
This is the best aneurysm I’ve ever read
You have truly made me look a fool 🥲
I can love what I do as much as I want. But I’m going to become homeless and die if I don’t get paid.
Lots of businesses use your logic to underpay people, like in the games industry and with Zoo Keepers, but at the end of the day they need something to stop them from dying
If all 50 people want to clean 1 toilet, 49 people are shit out of luck
I’ve been playing with this thought for a while, and it’s nice to see someone else express it
I think for the"normal" people who aren’t frothing at the mouth racists, it’s specifically about the HR enforced corporate perversion of diversity, equity and inclusion that they hate. Patronising lecturers and dehumanising metrics often leave a sour taste in peoples mouths, even if the cause is a good one
