This is at a restaurant. Someone paid money for cheese and raw onion on bread. What are we doing here?

I got shot with a super soaker at a local stage play of Rocky Horror and had to sit with wet pants in a cold theater for 2 hours.
We still have an FTC?

I’m really enjoying Orion on iPhone and Mac
I hope the Mets use them and don’t get left behind in the technological changes of the game.
You never know when you’ll never have the chance again. Saying “i love you” is free and requires no effort to do. You should tell your loved ones that you love them.

Sure, I get that, it’s just when it eventually becomes corrupt or falls apart, everyone that moved from Twitter to Threads to Bluesky will find another platform. Nobody is going to move to Mastodon until the people they want to follow move there too.
In my three attempts to make Mastodon work for my needs in the last few years, I can’t follow NBA or NFL news, catch up on AEW wrestling or hang out with IRL friends.
The content I want/need simply isn’t there. Until it is, i don’t really care how private it is or how perfectly decentralized it is.
None of the people I follow are active on Mastodon. The selling point to me for Bluesky is that it’s essentially a Twitter clone not owned by a billionaire. It’s friendly to the communities I’m part of specifically and doesn’t have ads. What more should anyone ask for from a social media platform?
Haven’t there been leaked conversations among the dems that are basically “we need to alienate the left side of the party and try appealing to center-right voters by sucking some maga dick.”? The dems are a lost cause.
Can they ambush the oligarchy in a way that ends the oligarchy next time?
Each of the artifacts fits into a puzzle for a machine that turns normal people into “gods”. My end game is have them use those items to reverse the process on the created god in the first place making them human again. This drains the essence into the machine and i’m hoping enough damage is taken on the machine thatbit explodes during final combat or is pushed off the cliff or something. I’m happy to yadda yadda to get to the cut scene lol!
Oh hell yeah I love that! Like an eye opening and it’s just a black void now or something. I have tons of time to workshop it (we’ve been playing for a year and we’re still in the first act).
I was thinking of using it as a cliffhanger at the end of campaign one, like an end credits scene.
I’m so excited for it! The entire campaign one is about the party finding the artifacts in order to stabilize (or destroy) a forged god (made by the BBEG) using the captured essences of the previous pantheon. It’s going to be such a twist when this dude comes back from the dead now imbued with the remnants of this unstable godly concoction to fight the [children, descendants, unrelated new characters] in the next campaign.
At the end of the campaign I have written the BBEG (just a guy tbh) is meant to fall off a cliff into a vat of “godly essence” and magical artifacts. The next campaign opens on him crawling out of the pit as a a lich powered by these artifacts looking for vengeance.
Plastic doesn’t decompose, our bodies do. Fellas I think we found the key to immortality. We must become one with the plastic.
I asked on bsky about Lemmy and PixelFed, both are on OpenVibe’s radar. Whatever that means.
Is it a place where you can exchange money for food while you sit down at a table? Semantics.
