Sony is really trying to reiterate to consumers that the only thing they care about is your money.

“We’re going to design a new controller. Its the exact same, but now you can give us money easier.”

I’m a bit uneducated on this, so maybe its a dumb question… But couldn’t saltwater be used for cooling as well? We have desalination plants, I’m sure there has gotta be a way to use the water for cooling and eliminate the freshwater problem completely, right? I’m assuming it is just that they don’t want to spend more money?

I saw a comment on Lemmy a few days ago that made me reevaluate how I view that answer, and I wish I could find it to link it. But, I think he was just being political in his statement, which is the best way to go about it. I think to Republicans, that is a satisfactory answer. To Liberals, it felt like an about face to appease Republicans, but if you think about his response, do transgender athletes impact safety or fairness? No, not really.

But even for a solidly blue area, we’ve had DeGette forever and it will be the first DSA representative for Denver. I think in order for a movement to grow, those first few dominos must fall first. These smaller wins will grow the movement into something larger as people see the benefits of the DSA platform. Or it will fall flat on it’s face.

I’m so excited. It’s time for DeGette to get out of the way of progress.

I really hope Victor Marx doesn’t win the Gubernatorial race though.

I’m going to put my conspiracy hat on, but I have a feeling this will be used to justify an increase to the FBI budget. Patel is going to start a whole new canine unit with that increased budget.

The GameBoy player was so clutch! I remember getting the player as a kid and having no idea how to hook it up to the console haha. My dad and I refused to read the instructions and finally figured it out together. Once we got it hooked up, I spent weeks playing the Legacy of Goku from my GBA on the TV, and it ended up being the very first video game that I ever beat.

We got ours a little while after it came out for Christmas, I think this was in 2002, and it is a core memory.

My grandmother gave my siblings and I a gift. We opened it and it was a cool GameCube game, but we had to break it to her that we only had the GameBoy and it wouldn’t work with our consoles. We went through explaining what the differences were in the different gaming consoles, and she hit us with the “I’m an old person, I didn’t know there were different consoles” bit. My dad was laughing in the background, and I thought he was laughing at her for being old and not knowing about video games. Then a few gifts later, my dad handed us this heavier box and imagine the surprise of an 8, 7, and 4 year old when it turned out to be the GameCube. My siblings, dad, and I played the shit out of so many games together.

I have vivid memories of spending hours with my little brother and sister on the floor of our living room, taking turns on Animal Crossing. We played together almost every weekend to pull all the weeds that grew in our town, since we rarely played during the school week. It was so cool when we discovered Mr. Resetti by accident. Little things like that in GameCube games made it such a cool console for kids.

No wonder my work laptop was freaking out today.
