I just put mint on a 2015 dell shit laptop that barley functioned with windows. Now it’s a perfectly fine computer. I don’t do much besides use the internet but it struggled with that before.

AM is ante meridian and PM is post meridian. It’s referenced to the prime meridian through Greenwich UK. If the sun is to the east of the line (ie. Before noon where it is vertical) it’s before (ante) the meridian. If it’s after (post) noon it’s after the meridian. It’s all outdated but that’s how time works.

I’m an engineer but I work in imperial. Most machines run inches so I design in inches.

Still 3-5% more possible buyers for your car by the logic I guess. Not that I agree with the system but marketing is fucked.

The ADA has bathroom/stall quantity requirements in the US for certain types of businesses. Our machine shop almost had to put in more toilets despite us having 3 toilets and 3 employees. I believe it’s based off of square footage. We are also required to have 28 parking spots for literally no reason.
