Trying to make Lemmy a great place :)
I use the desktop version and it works really good but the phone version is soo slow. You have to wait for the UI elements to load each time an UI element appears so something that would take 200ms takes 2 seconds because it takes so long
The problem is that you can make fake assumptions easily and you will think that you are 100% right no matter the topic. Contrasting opinions is useful
I think instead of assuming it would be better asking someone that believes it
Most of the times its sarcasm unless you are in some places
I used many Lemmy Android clients and after trying out Sync it is so good. It is not FOSS but it is high quality. Other FOSS apps are not mature enough yet and are unestable. I hope one day a FOSS one can compete and have high quality and I will switch
Why do you want to pay for a phone made by a company that is centralizing the Internet through them and adding DRM to websites?

Thats not how it works
How is that being downvoted it is obviously misleading. It is not users is number of accounts because if you make an account in different instances you count as 2 users but it is actually one so it is misleading. There are 500k accounts not users

Yes, it used to work fine but since pages sometimes bugged I updated and it fixed some bugs but added others and slow UI is one of them, can you share a video of you moving between pages UI? I dont know if it is just me but it is anoyingly slow. I love the desktop version and it works perfectly but the phone one have to work with that
