  • Idk if it depends on my hair type but I’ve found with mine, that if I leave my hair to airdry fully, it becomes very stringy (as in, hair strands clump together and the hair becomes flatter with way less volume)

If anyone has the same issue, a middle ground approach works well for me. Pat down the hair with a towel to remove any excess dripping water, leave to air-dry for about 10 mins, then blowdry (I just use the cool temperature) for a min or so. At least for me it retains the volume in my hair, makes it a bit more fluffier and keeps some of the natural waviness. If I need to brush it, I’ll just lightly use a detangle brush

Another way is to put your hair in a ponytail while it dries. I seem to retain a lot of my waviness one I let it down afterwards, at the risk of a little less volume

Extra/edit note: My hair does have some natural waviness that is very noticeable when wet. So I’m not saying this will work for everyone ^ But if your hair has any natural waves in it, it might do. (Way of knowing is to see how your hair looks when wet, if it straight, you’ve got straight hair. If it is wavy or curly, that’s your natural waviness). Over-brushing or blow-drying it too much or too soon, with high heat can accidently get rid of that waviness for me

Very fun game! There’s a lot of interesting secrets in the game that isn’t apparent straight away. A lot of puzzles that could reward better stuff during the run, that requires items from previous areas, or putting specific liquid or gases in specific places etc

Mind you, all the stuff I mentioned in my previous comment, was with the intention of not revealing how to do it (though it could be googled), to give people the chance to find it out themselves with the vague point in that direction. Like, the “reality bending high” is from eating a lot of one specific thing etc Also, south isn’t necessarily the only direction you could travel :3

I haven’t played the game in a good while but I feel like I’ve talked myself into redownloading it just from reminiscing lol

I love Noita for this reason. Every pixel is simulated and interacts/reacts to each other so as well so as well as the map being procedurally generated each run, you can interact and change it all as you progress. You can do some really wacky results with your wands if you build up your spells with good combinations, and there’s a somewhat hidden deep depth of alchemy to the game so mixing different liquids make different things/effects. Or get so high eating stuff you probably shouldn’t and somehow end up altering reality, changing one random liquid type to another for the rest of the run. You really needed water? Good luck, all water is now honey

Can easily have a run where you’re just exploding everything, and setting fire to every pixel that’s flammable, go a full acid build and dissolve everything, or just bathe and heal yourself in the blood of every enemy that you kill and go wild

Sorry, I realise I was talking about just the procedural generation of the game but ended up rambling into fanning over the game instead lol

  • I really wish inheritantly masculine words weren’t always ending up the “gender neutral” defaults.

I can’t help but feel like ever since being out over the last 2 years, friends are calling me “man” or “dude” in a neutral sense way more often than they ever did before despite them being supportive and it just feels too me like petting a cat in the wrong direction. I know I need to be more vocal in it making me uncomfortable but I’ve always tried to avoid confrontation so it’s hard
