Truth is virtually no country ever denounce shit if they have something to lose doing so. Geopolitics is rooted in each nation self-interest.

You’ll never, ever, change the pov of a cultist if you reveal yourself as an outsider. You have to play the angle of being one of them or being undecided. It helps if you’re genuine about it and make yourself open to their ideas.

That being said, some people are illogical and can only be convinced out of a cult by using the same faulty logic that’d got them in. E.g: “Trump is deep state controlled opposition’s but he doesn’t know.”.

Well I wasn’t necessarily including myself in that we, but most people I work with try to dress nice. In that sense I am indeed the strange one in my office. Anyway, it was meant as a general statement about people, not a description of my life.

I think there is some value in dressing nice and decorum. The same way we dress nice for family dinner or wear business casual to work even though there might be no dress code, it shows respect. That being said, if anyone is outraged at this then they completely lost the track. We’re long way past the point of caring about “decorum” in the senate. Dressing nice is like that nice little cherry on top of the sundae, it does not fucking matter if the sundae is made of literal shit.

And that’s why you have really smart people like Cruz just going all-in and saying whatever. Same with some talk-show host. If you’re sadic and cruel you can get rich on top of it by grifting this movement of dumbasses.

I might be giving him too much credibility because it’s not like Trump is a fine strategist or anything, but at this point I think he knows he’s fucked in court anyway. He already lost this battle so to speak, so I doubt he’ll make any sort of effort to help his own case. He’ll do what he does best and stir up shit as fast as possible, making the biggest circus imaginable with whatever he can, and insulting the judges and admitting to his crimes is definitely a signature wtf play of his. Another angle is that the case is lost, he knows, and Trump never admit defeat, he’ll just double down and pretend it’s not a crime because he did it on purpose.

Java feels archaic compared to C#. I am not sure what problems you’re having on Linux? This sounds like a very outdated take tbh.

It is pretty damn close to actual C# nowadays. Some version, I think it was 2019, really upped up the scripting backend.

I am curious, what exactly is missing in the latest LTS version from .Net what makes it so clunky to use for students? Afaik it is pretty solidly close to actual .Net 4.7 nowadays.
