Serious question: If I get hit by one of these death machines, who can I (or my next-of-kin) sue? Has that been established in court?

Do no evil.
Reminds me of that Yogi Berra quote: “In theory, theory and practice are the same thing. In practice, they’re not.”
This hits me where I live.
Today: “…they will be deleted after Alexa processes your requests.”
Some point in the not-so-distant future: “We are reaching out to let you know that your voice recordings will no longer be deleted. As we continue to expand Alexa’s capabilities, we have decided to no longer support this feature.”
“But you shouldn’t be worried if you don’t have anything to hide.”
The best argument I’ve heard against Dems filibustering the CR is that a filibuster would mean that they would - in the eyes of the public - take responsibility for the shutdown, and that the public would blame them for EVERYTHING wrong with the country now, including all of the Trump/Musk messes.
Which is insane to me. Allowing the CR to go through would cause much more direct harm, show that the Dems don’t really care about opposing this insanity, and - if we’re worried about PR - allow the GOP to blame future problems on Biden since they’re marketing the CR as a continuation of Biden’s budget when it’s really nothing of the sort.
This is precisely the time to use the filibuster. If the GOP wants to remove it, let them. They’ll own it, and if the Dems ever get back into power, it’ll help them tremendously.
I mean, it’s the logical consequence of their argument that abortion is murder. This shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone, and it’s why Dobbs was so disturbing.
Unfortunately, most people just didn’t give a damn.
Didn’t anyone with a brain figure this out about a decade ago?
Susan Collins is very concerned.
This is what REAL strength looks like…not the pseudo-macho bullshit that Trump and Vance just tried to pull.
As usual, Trump is projecting. Someone is “gambling with WWIII,” but it sure ain’t Zelenskyy.
Coming soon to a Truth Social post near you:
“He the people…”
Maybe the next generation of Rickrolling should involve providing a link to a real video but disguising it to look like the Rickroll link?
I’d argue that advertisements fall under “A robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.”
It’s not just Trump and Musk. Remember, there are two supposedly co-equal branches of government that could step in here.
The entire Republican party is complicit in this.
Honestly, I don’t give a fuck. He’s doing genuinely despicable things that are much more deserving of the media’s limited time.
