Yeah they reference this in the book, it’s always from him when he uses the bacteria (meaning in theory it’s only his own pathogens or bacteria). He uses his crews shit that’s been dried and left in Martian temperatures so it’s sterilised.

Yeah I got called a narcissist with my worst ex and then just flat out asked if they knew what it meant, I think it was a little telling they didn’t actually know (not that I do either lol). I quite like both these characters and wish we could have them be companions, I’m still happy with what we got though and it’d be asking a lot to add such a huge amount of stuff on top of what’s already in the game.

I haven’t heard anything about David Attenborough talking about plant based stuff so I won’t dispute it but he did help found and fund the zoology museum in my town, one that specifically tries to educate people on the dangers of climate change and making species endangered. From what I’ve seen of his filming they’re pretty conscious about not leaving any waste behind too.

I don’t think you could call the grass and object since it’s not a 3d model, it’s a bunch of 2d images stacked on top of each other at a high enough resolution that it looks like a real line from above. The way you draw in these 2d images is via a shader as you wouldn’t do it on the CPU. (Not a graphics engineer just an amateur programmer so don’t fully trust my word on it)

Nah genetic disorders aren’t mutations, they’re incorrect copies of original traits. I’m not a geneticist so don’t quote me on this, but the reason incest causes problems has nothing to do with mutations as they rarely happen and everything to do with not having enough variation in your own genetics to cover when there’s “data loss”. Again, I’m not a scientist.

Yeah it’s funny that’s never the conclusion but logically it makes sense to not dismiss something as unknown until we’re sure it wasn’t used for anything else. Still can’t wait for future civilizations to be very confused when they see my collection of funny looking coins.
