I think it was more like a large amount of whiskey, a cloth to bite on and 3 to 5 people to hold you down whilst they sawed off your leg as quickly as possible.

If you can (and if you’re not afraid of dogs), get a dog. If you can’t get a dog, try to find a way to incorporate a dog in your walk. Either through an app or sometimes the dog shelter sets up a volunteer squad to walk the dogs, or some other solution I don’t know about.

Walking used to be a chore. Now it’s something to look forward to and to remember afterwards.

In Belgium there’s a radio segment where every lunch they create a new word, most of them are for situations or feelings that are quite specific. Of course it’s just a little bit of messing around, it’s not like there’s 5 new Flemmish words to memorize every week.
