I can’t speak for Norway, but I can speak in general. Countries like to include the last 5 years in their excess deaths calculation, so actually less people died in 2025 rather than 2020 so we’re getting better. Also hospitals rarely test for COVID.

This is going to fuck over the US so hard. International students are so damn important. Like I mentioned before, they do so much for research and importing highly educated people, and so many posh people come in to study and pay heaps. This is just the US government shooting themselves in the foot.

Anti virals are very helpful, but it depends on your location and insurance. Can you ask a doctor or check a local website on how easy it is to get paxlovid or molnupiravir? Or have a relative do it as you should be resting.
