Make sure to research expected pay in your desired target countries. I was shocked when I saw the difference between compsci job salaries in the US and Italy. Can adjust for cost of living differences but it was still a significant decrease. Would be good to be aware ahead of time and not surprised if you’re not happy with the salaries presented.
Renting a gas powered vehicle could be an option for the two times a year needed.
I bought a PHEV back in June (Ford Escape), have driven 1500 miles since and have yet to add any gas. For most daily trips the battery gets me there and back without using any gas. I love it and am excited for full EV for my next vehicle.
Triggered!! 🤣
Going to my parents house to help fix why their computer was “running slow” and like 6 inches of their browser was all toolbars that they had no idea how they got there nor knew what they did.
American here but I do a lot of baking, I do own a scale and prefer to weigh ingredients because I’m amazed at the different quantities of flour I can get from cup to cup depending how packed the flour is or how I scoop it.

I cover lights like this with black electrical tape so they don’t sear my eyes at night.
“I like a little pasta with my cheese!”
Gotta keep that streak going!
Pihole was the best thing I ever set up for home Internet consumption
Same here! I even found most my stuff second hand off craigslist / Facebook marketplace. So far have made a great peanut butter porter, coconut milk stout and hefeweizen.
I went to school with 27 Jennifers
Extra sharp aged with those crystals in it that crunch when your teeth hit them just right. That’s the stuff
I use WatchMaker for custom watch faces. The program I use the most is 2FA Hub which allows me to set up my two factor auth codes from my watch for logging into any site where I set up 2FA.
Thanks for your response! I’m also in my forties and this is me when trying to thread the needle:
The family member who gifted me the sewing machine is the one who dropped it off at the shop to get serviced, and the service tech commented that they much prefer the older Singer machines, and seemed pleased to breathe some life back into this old one (which I will from now on refer to as Ol’ Bessie).
That’s a great point as far as content on the machine…there’s not much out there at all. I don’t immediately see a speed setting, and there was nothing in the manual mentioning it but I can take a further look. I may just keep an eye out on those sales at Joann and see. If the prices get low enough to be a steal I might just pick one up. While I love the idea of keeping a retro machine going I’m also at the age where modern conveniences have some merit! 😆
Thanks about the bench cushion!! There’s another fan of it as well…
