My guy was so disappointed he died. Rip
Don’t you love it when you start talking about a topic you find interesting as a post only to start to realize this is less about the topic but how you are processing personally traumatic events or similar and the epiphany only started because of it? It is a weird feeling.
I am under the belief that there was no murder and he had a preexisting condition of lead poisoning. As such, we unfortunately do not cover these kinds of conditions in our penal system and his claim must be denied.

I like to think my belief that humanity has some decency meant there was no way it could possibly happen. Yet life is often stranger and dumber than fiction.
But the machine needs those orphans to keep going! Why would we want to deprive the system of what it needs? Won’t anybody think of the shareholders!?!
Not much, what’s up with you?
I would say its both. You can’t have someone sue for you when you die, but even if you were severely harmed and lived, it implies you can’t sue then either. So I would say we are both correct.
It is by far the best reason they could give anyone for being pro piracy. Forget the morality of it anymore, when the alternative is signing your life away it would be stupid to pay for it.
A bit ironic as he never pays for things either.
I was thinking the same thing, this is just too specific to not get it mentioned.
Achievement Unlocked: Mention Linux in a computer related thread!
100% of tech related posts have this achievement.
(Relax comrades, I too am a Linux disciple.)
It was a joke about the significant portion of lemmy users also being Linux users. Also that Linux users ( like myself) would be oblivious that somebody could dislike Linux or not be interested. So it is assumed that they must like Linux then and would care about things Linux users care about. With the magic of circular reasoning, you can then say that since they must obviously love Linux that they would then agree with the person and want to hear what they say.
It was a far stretch for a joke but I will stand by it.
They said issues that they don’t care about. If that were the case, they would logically only agree. So that can’t be it.
If a peaceful solution doesn’t work, then can we eat them?
Yeet? No. Eat. Yes. We reduce pollution and world hunger at the same time!
That is fair, I thought I read percentage. My mistake.
We have never truly tested the limits of dogs. Only the limits of what THEY think we want.
