I’m wondering if the old statues used to have paint too. Wouldn’t be the first time they lost it over time.

Trump’s first term started in 2017. This warming effect first became visible around 2013-2014. As much as i hate that orange menace, this thing was already happening before him. It’ll take several years, if not a decade for his actions to show their effect on the climate.
From the article:
Across all of the datasets, the acceleration started to become visible in 2013 or 2014. The researchers describe the broader shift as beginning around 2015, when the evidence became clearer.
Further in the article they point out, that they don’t have an explanation yet, but they do mention that the models occasionally show that kind of effect. So it’s not entirely unexpected.

The acceleration, which becomes visible around 2013 to 2015
The massive AI data centers are too new to have an effect yet.

Well, can’t expect much growth if every major sub is turning into a christo-fascist cesspit, boosted by bad actor AI bots.

I’m just waiting for the “too big to fail” excuse
Oh, i know a few here in Germany, specifically rural Lower Bavaria. But i’m not surprised by that, since these idiots are also voting for AfD, and love to eat up Russian propaganda.

Suspiciously often with a “.ml” domain ending for whatever reason
History be like:

arrest them violently.
Only if they’re lucky

“If you keep doing what i don’t like, i’m gonna shoot my own foot!”

Yeah. And it’s not even the only treaty they’ve broken. Like the Budapest Memorandum providing security assurances for Belarus, Kazakhstan and Ukraine, or the neat little agreement not to change borders in Europe with military force. And then there are all those countless broken ceasefire agreements in this current conflict…

He did. Repeatedly. And he still does.

The implications of your drivel are quite clear.

The “entirety of NATO” didn’t back the Ukrainian forces in the first 3 days. Your favourite “superpower” somehow failed to take the capital of a smaller state that was mostly fighting with the very same “superior” hardware Russia is using. It took several weeks, if not months, for western military support to actually arrive on the battlefield. All while those “unbeatable” Russian tanks either got stolen by Ukrainian farmers using tractors, or blown to bits by DIY anti tank explosives.
