Is that an argument for a defence attorney defending a murderer? So, the murderer was hurt, and they are justified? And better yet, let’s hurt children.

I refuse to take anyone’s side that murders innocent people. Children should NEVER be victims of political wars. When politicians that make these decisions put their own children in the line of fire, then tell me “I should really take a side”.
Thank you for the insight. I always appreciate being educated :).
So, women and children, and hospitals, and first aid people are expendable. OK. This world is filled with evil, horrible people. And history will never be learned. Oh, and is Trump going to be turning the displaced area into a resort?
Have you been to Europe? They have “walking” cities. You really don’t need a car to get around. My kids backpacked through Europe. The furthest they had to travel from a hostel was outside Amsterdam. 8 km on bicycles! My son just came back from Japan (I know, not Europe). He talked a lot about the “Shinkansen”. A high speed train that travels 280 km/h. They were able to travel all over Japan “without” a car.
So, the Nazi’s sent Jewish people to concentration camps, did horrible things to their children (especially twins), gassed their relatives, displaced them… But they are now doing the same thing to Palestinians? I really don’t have a side politically. I just don’t understand.
I made a quiche last night and wanted to add a caesar salad. Grocery store only had USA romaine. Nope. But, they did have “Live Lettuce Green Leaf Lettuce”. PRODUCT OF CANDA. Grown in Alberta. “Live” meaning that the roots are still attached, so it lasts way longer than other lettuce. It’s delicious! Elbows up! We are NOT the 51st state.
“Build, baby, build” is something Carney has pledged to do. I would like to see the return of government built housing for low income families. These were not “slums”. They were built for hard working people that didn’t enjoy high incomes. My son-in-law’s mother was lucky enough to get a unit in one of these places. It’s a well run place for retirees on a fixed income, and rent is based on income. New buildings won’t mean anything if the wealthy are building and running them (and charging rents). Send a respectful letter to your new government pointing this out!
Seriously? You’re shaming someone for learning a new word?
Me too! And a perfect description :)
The slippery slope has arrived. WTAF?? My heart is with my American friends who are having to live through this nightmare. My Canadian heart is thankful that we have Carney at the helm for the time being. I’m wishing the best for the Australian’s upcoming election (elbows up, mates!). Sadly, the relief from stress of having Carney win the election has been short lived.
I completely agree with everything you’ve said.
On what do you base the “do nothing” comment?
Thank you. I completely agree with you, and this study. I was trying to find a “dumbed down” version.
If I could go back in time, I would have done everything I could to emigrate to Norway. The more I read about that country, the more I like it.
I expected that. But, is there specific statistics? Numbers? Graph? Pie Chart?
Has anyone ever looked at the education level of population voting for different parties? (I don’t know how to query statistics in an educated way)
Lots of downvotes here, but I get this. As a woman in the 70s, (before social media), young people gathered at dances, night clubs, outdoor parties, indoor parties. We usually arrived with friends and felt safe engaging with other people. You might “click” with someone and spend a couple of hours conversing or dancing. It was face-to-face, up close and personal. I feel for men and women these days trying to meet on social media. When chatting via text you can’t hear voice inflections, you can’t see facial expressions. Sometimes emojis just don’t cut it. It’s definitely a new frontier.
“Medicaid covers the people we love the most… our parents and our kids.” Not in Trump’s MAGA world.
Point taken. And, thank you for the reminder.
