  • I dont play a lot of chess and I’m bad at it but I recommend playing chess puzzles or timed chess. If it helps, just think of it as a mini skermish on one area of the “map”.

While there is competitive chess, I think the advantage it has over most things is that many people know how to play and that most of the time its a casual background game. Like you aren’t trying to win, you are trying to not lose.

When someone is playing at a house party, it’s so much fun to make wierd faces after they played a move or so.

  • I apologize if my recommendations are not what you are looking for but have you tried:

Disco Elysium? Cuz that game blew my fucking mind. I voice acting and characters are superb.

Signalis. Its such a lovely artsy game thats like resident evil but more story driven imo (less survival).

I love poe2 with wasd movement. I beg you to try it out. It was something i was hesitant at first but now I wish all arpg’s had this feature.

Kenshi is also a great option but I don’t think its for everyone. Still recommend it though cuz the world is very mysterious in first playthrough.

  • I might have a stupid answer but like what I’m thinking (I’m 100% just guessing) is that you still kinda move around ( like rolling from side to side or scratching your ass ) when you sleep. So therefore, maybe your brain is probably somewhat active - like you are doing more than just subconsiously breathing and sleeping like a dead body. Thennnnn, maybe you are stroking it or maybe its just your brain sending signals to your thingy with out you stroking it. Maybe it’s all in your head.

However, if you’re pumping it then I am sure you would notice it and wake up. Im saying all this because I recently had a dream where I was in a fight and i literally kicked the wall next to my bed as hard as I could. IT FUCKING HURT. I aimed for his neck…

android user now but basically… it might be that most of us Americans try to take the path of least resistance or whatever doesn’t give us headaches. I mean like, almost everything we do (except taxes) are pretty simplified. And even for taxes, we can LITERALLY pay for services to simplify or do it for us ( like wtf, this is kinda stupid). Apple does a good job of making it an easy experience.

    1. easy to use - like an automatic car vs manual car.

    2. popular apps just work - I don’t think its a problem now but I remember when some social media apps were just broken on android vs iphone.

    3. a lot of the software looks pretty clean and fancy. Gives it a polished experience.

    4. HARD TO LEAVE - Apple products work better with other apple products. Once you leave, you basically lose out on all the purchases you’ve made over the years.

    5. Apple store support - life saver for most people

    6. Security updates more consistent.

Hell, trying to adjust from typing with iphone keyboard to android keyboard took longer than expected.

Also our government issues out iphones for fed employees.
